No unless you want to give me a R7. Technically, I am. I give you funds for the TP and you purchase the R7 TP when it comes out in July. ;) Your driver's going to lose a tremendous amount of value after the R7 release. Why not take advantage of the higher value now? :) Just kidding. That's a great setup and completely understand you not wanting to sell.

Any interest in selling that TP w/ the 660TR x flex?

I've read that the R540DF has more spin than some of the other TM Tour drivers. I havn't experienced it but then again maybe it's because I have the 7.5*. Haribo, in all honesty the TM Tour drivers aren't longer per say than any other driver w/ similar setups. It seems to work for harder swingers or for people who don't like the left side as they are not closed faced like most retail drivers. In fact, the longest driver I've ever hit is the retail 983E. The 540DF is more forgiving and comparably close in distance. Overhyped? Perhaps but it's a driver that's working for me at the moment. There's a course in So.Cal called Oak Quarry which can be a pretty tough driving course. Havn't broke 80 from the tips but played the 540DF for the first time over there and shot 3 over. The driver pretty much kept me in play the whole day. Missed only 2 fairways. That pretty much did it for me. Ahh yes the 510 Tour. A sleeper that doesn't get the "hype" that it deserves. ;)

Just becuz a DF is being sold by someone you dislike doesn't mean it's a bad club. Besides that auction is over and I posted the link to show the pics. Nevertheless it's an awesome club imo. I like the 540DF more than any of TM Tour drivers I've tried. Come to think of it, I've had all the TM Tour issued drivers ever released and this R540DF is my favorite.

I'm currently playing the 540DF w/ TP 757x. For me, it works better than the 5 R580 Tours that I've tried w/ various shafts. Hits about 1/2 deg higher than stated loft. Mine's a 7.5. For me it's the straightest driver I've tried thus far and distance is up there w. everything else. I recently got another R580 Tour w/ xstiff Fuji 660TR 8.5 but due to an injured wrist can't play golf for a month. :( Sucks. Will do a comparo when I've recovered. If you want to get a 540DF at a reduced price, get the original prototype w/ no XD next to the R540 but w/ the loft underlined. (This is the one I have). They are the exact same club.
