I tried one in Japan last week, Powerful at setup, If you find a good shaft that fits your swing, this thing can be a beast.

I recently visited a mizuno workshop and was told that for customization for MP67, the Mizuno name cannot be removed and must remain somewhere on the back face, but having seen some pics on this site with only the runbird logo, I was wondering there is any validity with their claim.
  4. I am currently using TS X-drive 405HR with GD I-65(x) shaft, doing very well for 1 year now. However, I am determined to upgrade to the new X-Drive 430P, but was wondering which shaft would go better with it? The GD-QT65(x) or An Axiv? My swing speed is 49m/s. Pls. help! Thanks.
  5. I think there are also some differences in lie angles of the Jap spec. vs. the US spec. cheers.
  6. YUP, read that..the Japanese call it the annual D-1 GP (grand prix)..one thing to note and share is that for the 50 m/s guy, the top distance was produced by Cleveland Launcher NC-X @ 294 yds.

Guys..just a reminder...even my x-blades are awesome, but according to the Japanese..the ultimate blades are still 'Miura Giken' or they even called it clubs made by god's hands!
  8. They will release 2 models: conforming and non-coforming. The conforming spec has a 432 cm3 headsize compared to the 460 cm3 of the non-conforming model. Both models with come standard with the mp400 carbon shaft. I gave the 460 a try last night...the distinctive 'ping' sound which was made famous by its predecessors was louder than ever! However, I am still waiting for the chance to field test it.

I currently own 2 sets of x-blades. The 2004 model and the 2005 model (both with DG x-100 shafts). Basically not much different on these 2 models except for new 'insert' on the long irons (2,3,4,5) on the 2005 model. In my opinion, the x-blades are the best.
