i have a 980f strong 15* w/a pro95 stiff shaft which says right on it "exclusively for titleist" "fairway". is this a real pro 95 fit-on 11? i don't think so. the ball flight is really high for such a heavy shaft. anyone know if this is just another junker like the "speeder" ?

was wondering if it is unheard of to make your scoring wedges all the same length. also what are the down falls of yor irons being too long, ie: .25 or .50 inches.

waiting for my 980f strong 15 w/pro95 shaft. i am definitely going to unload this club. i bought it less than a year ago off ebay. the condition is pretty much the same. i would give it a 7.5, only because the leading edge, and the face has (normal) wear. the crown is perfect with no idiot marks. the shaft is original. anyway, just seeing if anybody is interested.[/img][/img]

i used to play the original 690cb's w/s400 shafts. this was a heavy club at 1/2" over! when i went to the z101's i had rifle 5.5's put in at 1/2" over. this turns out to play like a 5.8 or 5.9. long ago are the days when i cared about stiff or x-stiff, 5.5 or 6.5. now ijust want an easy,playable shaft. any way, my z101's are much lighter, and i beleive i am a 1/2 club longer with them. remember rifle shafts fly higher, hence more carry. put that together with lighter, higher swing speed, and you have more distance. i do know that off the shelf titleist forged are light with low swingweights, which means? any way, i'm babbling, probably not much help.

i am currently playing a 13* fst w/a speeder 661 shaft. Its not the longest 3 wood out there but it sets up nice, it has a solid feel, and its easy to hit. Just recently i demoed a ss-07, and found that it hit the ball too high, and had a clanky sound(hate that), maybe it was the eta shaft. fortunately my buddy at the shop has the custom fitting program for sonartec. it will be fun trying to knock my fst out of my bag.
