  2. my dad could probably use that shaft...don't think he'd be too fond of the gold/silver color scheme though. is this going to be mamiya-op's 2009 shaft? or are they planning on relelasing something else?
  3. hey tsg do you guys stock the for carbon (graphite) shaft heads?
  4. yea i'll be sure to post something once i get in a few rounds with it.
  5. icic...yea mines has these shafts...ns pro 900 wf, ns pro 850gh, ns pro 950gh, ns pro 950gh wf, ns pro 1050gh, ns pro v90, m266v, dg, dg sl, and of course the tourstage graphite ones. can't wait to see the 901 when it comes in though...
  6. i thought tourstage does offer custom shaft options? i have a brochure from 2008 showing different custom options through tourstage. and i got that in december of 2007.
  7. you might want to try talk to a bridgestone rep. i kind of doubt they deal with the japanese market though. if i remember correctly a warranty card should come with all new tourstage equipment. but seeing that we dont have japanese addresses it didn't really make sense to have to fill it out...lol.
  8. i remember seeing this last year. http://www.golfdigest.co.jp/golfmagazine/g...l/default02.asp (average golfer) http://www.golfdigest.co.jp/golfmagazine/g...l/default03.asp (athlete golfer)
  9. i doubt the taylormade tp rombax is anything like a real rombax. but comparing the rombax z to the quattro tech md, the quattro tech is a much more smoother feeling shaft. kind of just flows with your swing. the rombax z has a very strong kick to it. feels very solid...but definitely not as smooth as the quattro tech. in terms of which spins less i would give the nod to the rombax z. sorry never played a diamana shaft long enough to give a through review. they just never felt as nice as a graphite design or fujikura shaft.
  10. Just picked up the OnOff Plus driver yesterday. And after hitting it at the range last night i'm glad that i picked it up . The face feels like the ball jumps off of it. And the sound at impact is very pleasing. The stock shaft is too soft though...so maybe i'll shaft it up with a roddio later. from what i can tell the head is low spin and launches the ball on a mid to mid-high trajectory. i've been working on playing with a fade recently so the club hits a very nice controlled cut for me. i still have to take it out onto the course to see how it stacks up distance wise. but if your in play, distance shouldn't be that big of a deal right .
  11. i played the 2007 viq forged irons for the majority of last year...and i much prefer the feel of the viq forged iron vs. the epon 701's. maybe i'm just not used to the undercut design. to me the viq forged had a soft solid feel while the eopn 701 felt very clicky, not the solid feel i'm used too. but then again it might just be the design of the head. sorry though never got a chance to hit the 2008 viq's.
  12. is the trajectory lower on the 445 vs the 410/430/430P/460 version heads?
  13. on my last trip to japan i picked up a couple dozen x-01g4's since i liked the feel of them. I've been playing them sparingly since i'm probably not going on another trip till later this year...hopefully =/. but my question would be once i run out of x-01g4's what would be a usdm replacement for them? i saw the new callaway touri was a 4 piece ball and is supposed to be soft. and callaway also has the tourix which i'm guessing is a harder version of the touri.
  14. Good info guys. Its looking more to me that they are 2 different shafts. i doubt a big name company would post wrong information about their products. Guess we'll just have to wait for gocchin to get a response back from fujikura. can anyone chime in on how the japan model plays? i'm looking at purchasing the 8z08 model.
