Mjr D, You'll have to pm Chris about the lofts/lies available. In regards to the Yururi line, you can buy heads only. Some wedges Chris can get heads only some only with a shaft. PM Chris for any other details and he can definitely help you out with that.

Thanks a ton PGAPro. You mentioned its trajectory is lower than the AxivV even though its a low kickpoint shaft. I've noticed that very same thing with the QuattroTech in my 3 wood, also a low kickpoint shaft. I'm very much liking the fact that you weren't able to hit a ball left as that is my major thing I'm fighting right now is the shot that has a little too much left to it. I'll definitely be keeping this shaft on the list as I try and decide between it and the Machline Pro80. Going to put a Roddio in the current driver and have Epon build another with a MachLine. How does the "weight" of the shaft/club feel compared to the way the AxivV felt? Also, when you played the AxivV were you able to hit that shaft left as well? Thanks again for the initial review and do keep us posted as to how it goes in future sessions. You definitely have at least one very interested member here. B
  3. That is one fine looking fairway club.

Yea, that's what I've been doing, just pouring over the numbers between the Pro80 and the Tour. I like the weight of the Pro80 but then intrigued as the Tour sounds a little close to the QuattroTech. The Axiv you replaced wasn't that the Axiv V7076?
  5. Blader-X replied to gus's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The AxivV's do play a little softer. I too would say go with the 7076. I have the 8076 right now and I draw the ball even though its supposed to take the left side out of play. Its a very good shaft but the way Mamiya measures their stiffness is different than other manufactuerers. See previous older posts about this.
  6. I have the Epon X-models in copper and just love those. However, you can't go wrong with any of those choices you mentioned. In regards to the shafts, I have the True Temper Black Golds in mine and I think they're better performers in a wedge than the Nippons. Trajectory is lower and better feel on the touch shots, at least in my experience.

I'm very interested in this review. I'm going to have another Epon built with an NGS shaft but I'm between the Mach Line Pro80 and the Mach Line Tour. PGAPro, could you share any insight as to why you choose the Tour over the other available NGS models. I would appreciate that very much if you could. Gocchin, any addtional light you can shed on these two models I mentioned would also be great.
  8. 5/5 looks absolutely clean to me. Place that new G-Field replica insert in that and you've got one fine putter. I think its the finish on this putter which I like the best.
  9. Chris, I've noticed there's no putter in your WITB signature. Could we be expecting to see something really exciting from Gold's made especially for the Jedi??
  10. Epon. Best feel, and custom options available. This is a very hot topic and I think you may get about 30 different replies. Have fun choosing!!
  11. I haven't put it into play enough times yet to give you a complete review, but this 7-wood is very, very nice. Feel is just like the 3 wood that's been in the bag for a couple months now. Shoe if you're serious about putting a 7 and 9 wood in the bag, you really need to consider going the route of the Epon. After a few more rounds and a long-day range session I'll be able to give you a better idea of its versatility. However, I think these clubs will handle whatever you need them to do.
  12. Yes Idrive, thanks very much for the pics. Beautiful putter. I'm sure you'll be getting many inquires about this putter as this appears to be the only thing one will be able to get now that the Premium Zone is no longer available unless from re-sale.
  13. I think you will all like these grips. And, especially if you like the Epon Technity grips, you'll love these as they are the same grips. Just a note here, they are smaller on average so you may need a little extra tape but they feel great. I'm pretty happy with these. Haven't had them enough to tell how they will wear. The greatest thing about them is looking down at the logo while you're playing. Makes me think I have all of TSG with me out there on the course!

Yes there are so many great ones out there, just a matter of which one suits you. I put the Srixon Z-UR in play the other day up against the Bridgestone B330. Overall length the Z-UR was longer off the driver by about 5 yards but coming into the greens the B330 stopped much better. Around the greens and putting is where the B330 was clearly better than the Z-UR. Much more feel. Again these are results from my game but take them what you will. I'm going to give the Srixon Z-URC a try next. I'm still very happy with the B330 so not sure if anything can replace it. As far as what the manufacturers say about their balls, the Z-URC is probably the closest in terms of performance factors to the B330. I believe the Z-UR is more for just flat out distance. Hey Mjr. D, this might be one for you to try (Z-UR) since it spins much less than the B330.
  15. That's the ultimate in true "ho-dom". Outstanding info to know.
  16. Chris, are you saying these have even more feel than the Epon copper X-models?? I didn't even think that would be possible. I'll stick with my Epons for now but might have to sneak a swing in with the Yururi one of these days.
  17. For me its the Epon. There's a 13.5 sitting in the bag right now. Head is forged, shaft is the QuattroTech by Graphite Design. Its just majical.
  18. You're probably right, we'll see how the 7 wood works out. If it does like I'm hoping and planning won't need to worry about the utilities. But then again, you never know when that "club ho" impulse jumps out and bites you!!
  19. They are a company based in Stockton, CA founded by their president John Nakashima. Its a small company that burst on the scene a few years back offering clubs that paid more attention to detail than the larger OEMS. Tighter tolerances, etc. I actually used to play one of their drivers before I got involved with TSG. A few people swear by these clubs. Good clubs I believe but my experience is too limited to tell you any more than that. Others more familiar with them should be able to tell you more. I do know that they are often mistaken for being a "Japanese" company but that's just because of their name, Nakashima.
  20. A hybrid which takes the left side out of play is exactly what I need, and I like TourStage equipment, I just can't get over the "box-like" look to this club. I prefer the corners more rounded off. Its shape reminds me of the Sonartec MD. Had one of those and gave it a good go, but I just couldn't get past the way it looked. For those playing the X-UT and who have played the MD, are they that similar to what I've described? I know sometimes pics can be a little misleading. Being a TourStage, its definitely a quality club.
  21. Three to four months, maybe more depending upon how many orders Sasaya-san is working on. Here, check out this previous post for all the info you need. http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.ph...l=golds+factory
  22. If Sasaya-san could pull this off, that might be the only thing to force me to try and attempt to replace the Premium Zone. I'm sure we will all be very interested observers on this topic over the next few months.
  23. Hey Mjr, one thing to make sure of next time you get fit is to use the same ball you're currently using or if not available, use the same brand of ball for every club that way the numbers correspond. Otherwise if you're hitting different balls very tough to tell if its the club or ball. Sounds like the Accra is the shaft for you if you were getting such good results. The 7-m is still listed in the proshop but I would definitely ask for a fitting from TourSpecGirl. Here's the listing. http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.ph...23213&st=50 The F7-M is listed in the Proshop, under the "Shafts and Grips" section, page 3. As far as heads are concerned, go with what is pleasing to your eye. Sounds like you like the Bridgestone and if its giving you low spin numbers I'd say stick with that. Not to mention that club has gotten quite a few rave reviews on this site.
  24. Sure does, with some weighting in the back, huh. I searched all over the net and I couldn't find a thing. Maybe some proto that never made it to production? Interested to see what Chris finds out.
  25. This 7 wood is an attempt to replace my two hybrids since I put the 4 iron and a 60 wedge back in the bag. I'm looking to be able to hit many of the same shots I hit with the two hybrids, long par threes and yardages anywhere from 180-220+ from the fairway depending upon the course I'm playing and the conditions I'm playing under. And of course since I have this new found love affair with Epon clubs, I couldn't think of better way to go, especially since I can get custom specs such as 1.5 degrees flat. Jacque sent me the shipping info today so it should be in the bag for the upcoming rounds Thursday and Tuesday!! I believe Chris is playing the 9 wood and by all accounts he's really liking it, but I'll allow him to elaborate on that.
