  1. Maybe T still has it. Should have gotten it but don't know why I let this slip. Well, I am happy with my trusty Ryoma 5Us (one from you and other from Mark).
  2. 153 with Croc HC sold and 504D available at $225. Thanks R.
  3. The 153 head with LE Croc HC is pending. The 504Dh with regular HC is still available at $225 pp gift.
  4. No sir, $225 is already incredible cheap for an Epon.
  5. Perhaps I should restate my post to reflect $225 each. My apology for the confusion.
  6. Haha, you think one could get 2 Epon driver heads in this condition for $225? I can ship ship anywhere but $225 (each) is for standard HC. Croc HC is $35 extra. If you want both, we can do a group deal via PM.
  7. I have 2 Epon driver heads both in very good condition with no chip except maybe some abrasion on the sole. Never used as a gamer but both marked Demo on neck. 1) Epon 504Dh which is rare now and it's 193g at 10.5 loft. 2) Epon 153 at 10.5 loft with 198g head weight. Both $225 (each) Paypal gift shipped EMS anywhere with normal Hc but add $35 if you choose the limited crocodile hc.No trade please.

I have a Epon 504Dh 10.5 and a Epon 153 10.5* both for $225 pp gift with normal Epon HC but add $35 for the limited Croc hc. I would be posting the heads for sale later today.
  9. Wasn't Mactec the Japanese Mcgregor line? I had mactac irons and drivers in the 90.s but I think they folded. Is this putter a revival of the brand or there is still the Japanese Macgregor brand separately?
  10. Too bad the shaft is way too heavy for an old man or I would give these serious thoughts. I am already playing a set so I know how well these would perform.
  11. Actually I was as my father started a metal factory together with my grandfather back in the 20's in China and later in HK in the 30th. Worked in the company machine shop during summers when I was 16 and later a college summer job at a Silverware forging company at Worcester, Mass. MIC is not longer shabby workmanship of years ago (some are of course like everywhere else). I am old enough to remember that Japanese goods were laughed at and shunned a long time ago.
  12. What's wrong with the casting process? This is the way they do casting and manufactory quality from China is getting better. Mjr. D, I assume you were not raised or worked in the manufacturing environment.
  13. 5W sould likely be 17-18* and 7w typically at 21*. I don't use FW much but I assume one might preclude the other if limited space in the bag. It is all about bag and game management on how you play your course.
  14. the 7W is probably the easiest FW to hit and it could be long or actually too long if you have the Ryoma 7w. I would bag a 7w but keep a 25-27* UT to replace the 5i. One should have a ut in the bag for rough play since FW would not do well if not on fairway.
  15. Isn't Geotech owned by Dynamic of Taiwan which is a major golf club maker?
  16. Since this is the older model (IS-05 now) and 4 stars, I can only find pictures of the left handed model 3 stars on the Honma Japanese site. The two gold band ferrules look exactly the same. The site also states 'conforming to 2010 grooves rules' but spell groove correctly. They did not show the shaft label with 'croove'. The clubs look real to me.
  17. What spelling mistake? The label said conforming to the 2010 groove rule and not 201. Could Anyone confirm grove rule change was in 2010? I did purchase a set of IS 05 for a friend but it was only 2 stars hence very much less gold on the head. Quite honestly this set looks real to me.
  18. Not sure they actually have a 4 iron. Had a 5-pw with Roddio shaft a while back but either low ball or no taker so decided to keep it. good luck In finding a set.
  19. Dont think many would hit hit their irons but i did own the EG002 conforming driver for awhile. It felt as good as any driver and very forgiving. I personally like the older model 01 and 02 vs the new ones.
  20. Its all depends what you are looking for? I have had VG3, 501, 701 , 551 (501) and 703. 703 is in my opinion, an improvement over 701 and more forgiving than the 5 series. If you are a good ball striker and don't care much about forgiveness or distance, then go with the 5series current model. If older model is what you want, then go with either one.
  21. I think the only difference is the shaft. Heads should be the same.
  22. I have a Shuttle F (Ti) 13* 2w with stock SR flex that I am not using. If you are interested, PM me.
  23. Its interesting to note that the loft is 1* stronger (almost same as the 302) than the P2 but offset seems to be bit less according to spec on the internet.
