  1. Probably the wrong forum, but maybe scott will catch it here.  I am interested in one of your clubs in the B/S/T section and you dont seem to want to PM me back for some reason?  I always see you are online, so why no response?  Thanks,

    Steve :)

It could be someone else using the account from his computer. Why not give him a call? Here's his number... 866-897-7474

  3. Would somebody please explain to me why and for what reason my original post has been changed ??? This below is not what I posted and I would like to know just WTF happened ??

    Thanks

    Mike

I'm longer with the Z's than with my old irons.  About 1/2 a club. I think the Rifle 6.0's had much to do with that as well.

Mike, somehow my post appeared twice on this page. I'm not sure exactly why.

  4. Not to threadjack, but how do the TS202s fit into this conversation?  How would you compare them with the Z-101s and the MR23s?  Anybody seen/hit all three that can comment?  Thanks.

I've owned all 4. The Z's, both MR's and the 202's. I currently still have the Z's and the 202's. I think the 202's don't really belong in the same category as these other clubs. The 202's are very forgiving and they have a special grind too. No digging divots here. The Heads are heavier and they help you gain some distance if your swing speed isn't really up to it. I just put 5.5 Project X in the 202's to see how they feel. I'm also trying to bring the ball flight down a bit.

All of that being said, I think the Z's are just as forgiving as the 202's. I know there are some that won't agree with me on that, but I find the Z's incredibly easy to hit and control. The control is the main difference in these two irons. The Z's being much more the player type of CB with workability, and the 202's more the... hit it straight and as long as you can... type. I like both the Z's and the 202's for their differences. I don't have any photos of the 202's yet, but I will soon. Hope this helps.

  5. OK I have the itch for some new irons. Judging from the tourstage fans in this forum, they are great. So how do I know what to go for ? I currently play Hogan FTX w/ DGx100's. Looking for something smoother. HELP !!!

Here's some comparison shots between the MR-23's CB's, MR-23 Blades, and Z101's. I have to say that I would seriously consider the new X-Blade Cavity Backs as well. They are supposed to be great! Chris has them. Red line on hosel = MR-23 Blades, Gold line = MR23 CB's, Double lines Mother of Pearl = Z101's.

  6. I am considering putting a Tour Release 36.3 in my TM 8.5 TP.

First, I need a good source to buy the shaft and have it put in the club.  Any recommendations? I hate to have to mail this clubhead to anyone but I do not have a local Fujikura shaftfitter in North Louisiana.

Second, with the hosel depth of the TP being shorter than standard, does the shaft need to be tipped before installation.

Pro clubfitters, please help me out.

    Mfinger

Joe Kwok is the guy I would have do the work. He is also a Fujikura Charter Dealer. Joe's email is ... [email protected]. He's also a sponsor here so that means you get a better deal. :)

  7. Can anyone give me a comparison:

    Setup, Sound, workability, forgivness, etc……

I had a 510DF Tour with a 757, and I have the Gemini 395cc. The Gemini is a good 10 yards longer and way more accurate. For me, it's much easier to control as well. I just had the Blue that was in it pulled and put a 553 Fuji in it and that was a major step too. This is a workable, forgiving club. The sound is short and slightly sharper. Not overly loud though like a Cleveland. I like the feel much better in the KZG in comparison to the TM. The TM drivers always feel cheezy to me for some reason. Never solid. Hands down winner in my book is the Gemini, but I'm still trying some other drivers too.
