  1. Here's a report from zerohandy... Report: I have U4 (23") w/stock shaft(Maybe NS PRO UT). I played it yesterday and used 2 times. First was tee shot. I hit it lightly intended to hit off the ball around 200 yrd, but failed... I hit it 240yrd... he..he...Secondary, at the 18th hole (par 5, 564yard) i hit off the ball over 300 yard with my X-Drive 405. The remaining is only 260. I tried spoon but did fatshot. I rolled only 40yard and the ball sit in the deep rough. I picked up X-UT and hit the ball verrrrry clearly. My X-01 ball fly and sit beside the pin within 5m. The trajectroy made by X-UT was not so high. It was a little bit of fade. I'm falling in love with my baby..X-UT. It will sit for a long time in my bag.
  2. Here's my Tour Newport Scotty. No lines, nothing on the bottom. Handstamped. It's a 33 in. My Balde is in the bag though.
  3. Here's more pics from MCsub... Thanks Mike. :tsg_smiley_yes:
  4. Sweet set of clubs! Hope you didn't mind that I adjusted the layout of the photos a little. Great set.
  5. Yup, still playing them here. Although I haven't tried everything that is new out there, I tried and owned many irons before settling on the 27's. Great irons and I'm not even looking for a new set. Very happy and satisfied.... My bag has stayed the same for quite a while now (for me). The Gauge Balde is the newest club in my bag.
  6. You betcha! Bunch of 'em... http://www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog/index....4a5a8e4c90b7e33
  7. Good looking bag! Thanks for the photo too.
  8. I use it in my driver and it works great for me. Joe Kwok set it up... I like a light shaft in my #1. Swing faster, easy to load and a nice trajectory (for me). Here's the specs... Speeder 553 Triax - 46 in. 56 grams 3.4 Torque midhigh kick
  9. The only thing that I would say is that more golfers would benefit from MORE backspin to get the ball in the air longer. That's what keeps the ball up and aids distance. Air is less resistance than the ground for anyone that has a normal (read slower) swing speed. The whole thing about less spin as desirable doesn't hold true for at least 75% of the golfers out there. :tsg_smiley_yes:
  10. Always an anser style. I think about the mallets but when I actually get down to putting, I do better with the blade / anser style.
  11. Sweet! I like the building in the back too. Where did you get it done Chris?
  12. It's not really about offset. There isn't that much offset. The 27's are a little chunky from the top though. It's about forgiveness. The MP 27's are definitely one of the most forgiving irons I've played and I've played all the Callys', TourStage and more. That's the bottom line with these clubs. If you are a very good ball striker and have a low handicap then try out the 60's. If you are a mid handi and don't always pure the ball give the MP27's your shot. I have to say that I'm bias for the 27's for sure. A great club.
  13. Project X... Those are steel as is the NS950. You can change from steel shafts to steel shafts. Re: heavy graphite, you can do anything that you want however it's not recommended. It would be better to just buy a graphite head.
  14. Good grip in a time of test. He sounded like a great guy and slam a few into the rough for him :smile1: . God bless.
  15. They can be reshafted. Don't go with Project X unless you are a very aggressive hitter. Those shafts are hard to load. Looks like the person on the phone was right about not offering NS shafts... See this shaft selection for the XTour... http://www.callawaygolf.com/en/techspecs/S...aspx?product=74
  16. http://www.leaderboardgolf.com Great prices and service. Very knowledgable too.
  17. Definitely looks playable. Confidence all the way. Great looking irons.
  18. It will mess with the swingweight. The Mizuno Hybrids are designed to work with either steel or graphite, but not either.
  19. The KM Tour Wedges is an older model and the Premium is the newer model. The grind is different, but I couldn't tell you exactly what the difference is. I've had quite a few of both and prefer the Premium.
  20. Damn nice. You are right about the Balde though. I've had some special $ putters in my life but the Balde is much more balanced and non skid. Even at a low price. Thanks again for that putter Chris.
  21. I gotta say that's a very cool castle in the background... :surprize:
