Cleveland Comp or Taylor R580XD TP???
64 - I'd try them out. Not only those but others too. One thing... If you like the TP don't get rid of it until you are sure... The shaft is just as important as the head.

Scotty Cameron and TP Mills...who else
Definitely take a look at those Gauge Putters. I think they beat the Scotty's and the Betty's hands down. I'm trying to decide which one I want myself.

MX-23 or MP-27s
I don't know how to say how much, but I'll say that the 27's are VERY forgiving. Super easy to hit. But, they aren't chunked out and the top line isn't too thick. They have a good amount of bounce and won't dig either. Definitely keepers. I've had mine for at least 6 months. In Da Bag.

MX-23 or MP-27s
If you have to go by some kind of test... Test the 30's and test the 23's. The 27's are in between those and with more quality control. Very forgiving and also very workable.

Are any of the Japanese drivers conforming?
Sure, many of the Japanese drivers are conforming. Look in the Catalog section here and in the description of the drivers it usually says.

Has the Taylor Made R7 Tour Driver become old news?
The domestic R7 TP Tours never had any sizzle to begin with. The truth came out early with these "Tour" drivers. We don't drink the KoolAid.

Which FW is seen as tops by strong players/
That's a great post from Chris where he listed all the FW's of the players. I agree with him on the Gauge GAF's. Super hot face. Very solid and with the right shaft as long as it gets. I'm very happy with mine.

904F and 905S pictures!!!!
I liked the E but, it's such a pain to reshaft the bore-throughs ... To know how a shaft is going to play when inserted all the way is impossible. I won't be trying out Titleist drivers anytime soon. It's hit or miss when you reshaft. IMHO - Titleist needs to come up with a new design.

Cleveland 460 issue driver
If it's a good deal regardless if it's tour or not then it's a good deal. The Green NV is a different type of shaft, not an older one. See the shafts at http://www.aldila.com. There isn't any difference in the Cleveland Tour clubs other than it might be tweaked to the specification of the player. That may or may not be good for you. There isn't any difference in the Face, Head or anything else other than it might be more open or closed or adjusted for the player.

Those poor guys, they will never live this down...

TSG loves Mizuno XOXO...
Chris, Those Miz Hybrid's look great. Let us know when we can order! Thanks for the great photos.

Shaft for tour ignite??????
Go to a place that has a Vector Launch Monitor and get fitted. You are just shooting in the dark without a good fitting session. You might know someone who can do it without the science but you want to make sure you make the right decision.

TSG loves Mizuno XOXO...
My Custom Miz 27's aren't going anywhere soon. The stock Miz grind with the custom cosmetics are great for me. I'm very happy with my irons. To add topline, grind and anything else to the mix is absolutely killer. There is not another iron that I have tried that feels like the Mizuno's.

Fujikura Japan 2005
Great information. Thanks Chris! I agree with some of the other guys here. The new GD's are the great shafts right now.

Removing paintwork?
Take to get it sand blasted by someone good. I think Joe Kwok might do that. That is the finest and least damaging.

Fujikura - Pure ?

New Nippon iron shafts
Sure, What types of golfers would benefit from choosing which shafts. Fitting?

New Nippon iron shafts
Appreciations Mark! IMHO Nippon needs to clarify their shaft options and stop making letters to the same numbers. We are confused enough here in America. Please post clearly what the option are with the different shaft offerings. We love Nippon shafts but are mystified with the marketing process.

Gauge Design 2005 putters ?

Fujikura - Pure ?
I think it is. Why not if you are spending that kind of money.

Introducing the 2005 Scratch CB's!!!
Incredible looking. Very much like the 202's except thinner from the top line. Curious to know about the offset and spec. They also look very FINISHED

1st Titleist 905T TOUR hits the BAY
The 905T's have been turning up here and there for awhile now. IMHO I think Titleist is a good company, but they really need some change in their design starting with the borethrough hosel. It's a bad idea and makes it too hard to predict what you will get with a reshaft. Clubmakers don't need to do this to add stability or strengthen a larger head size. Creates too many problems.

Ian Poulter
Poulter's a blast. Check out some of these photos at GolfPunk... Don't forget the bunker babes. http://www.golfpunkmag.com/gp-at-the-open.html#

Specs for Fuji 661
About $225 US. Note that these have been replaced in the US market with the 652's. The 661's available now are either left over stock or Japanese issue. By all reports, the 661 is a much better shaft than the 652.
