  1. One of my favorite wedges... soft, compact but easy to hit, very versatile and awesome grind and milled face. One of the best out there.

    Yup that is correct!
  3. The hybrid wood combinations is something I've been experimenting with... a LOT... I've gone from one wood with 3 hybrids to one wood with 2 hybrids to two woods with 2 hybrids to two woods with one hybrid and with all different kinds of hybrids (wood style, iron style) I think I will start the season with two woods and two hybrids which will be an RC 14* with Yamaha iFF 17*, then 21* and 23* Egg hybrid irons to replace my long irons. It's possible after I test the 901 I might like that too... as usual just too much to choose from. (^_^)
  4. Okay... sorry I took forever. I get so many questions about this I thought I'd just take the time to translate... here are the basic functions of the Science Eye. This is only for the Unit itself and not including any PC connectivity or software analysis.
  5. Most manufacturers don't list that kind of info, they should! But the way a shaft bends and loads and unloads will affect if you go right or left or high or low... flex is only one small factor that is associated with your swing speed to some extent. I think you'd be looking for a softer tip and mid section to eliminate your push/slice. Here are some examples of bend profiles... all six shafts are Stiff flex but as you can see how they bend will have impact on things like trajectory, spin, stability and accuracy etc:
  6. I apologize for no one answering your inquiry but it does say in the Pro Shop clearly that the unit is available with Japanese instructions only. That said it's pretty straight forward to use. If you're not sure how to use specific features please PM me and I can help you out. Thanks. (^_^)
  7. CPM's aside, a more important thing to look at with the plethora of shafts available these days is the bend profile of the shaft. 3 shafts can have identical CPM's but bend and flex at totally different points and have stiffness distributed totally different which will affect how they play when matched with certain swings. In other words, same CPM shafts but play totally different. If you have an early to mid release then there really is no wrist lag in effect. I'm assuming he says "middle of the road" tempo that means "average" tempo, and a sweeping motion with your early release probably translates into more of a body type swing since you don't lag the hands behind and then explode them through impact as typical hard hitter/agressive swinger do. You just swing quick and release early. (this is all guessing of course!) Do you have a bad shot? Slice? Hook?

That would be Choice. Even Epon is featured in there lately.

Yup my favorite magazine... September 2007 was the last... just when they were getting awesome with those DVD's....
  14. It does have a really great shape from the top!
  15. All Premium Zone's are 350g.
  16. Thanks for the good feedback, it's much appreciated especially when it's such a new product like the EMB. You raised some good points that many people are discovering like the Tour AD for EMB shaft, while the torque numbers seem high, and while the shaft gives the impression of soft... it is a VERY stable shaft and matches very well with the EMB. Results you're getting reflect several who have already learned how straight, forgiving and long the EMB is. Epon touted this driver to be straight then have great run and it seems to be proving true. Look forward to your further testing!
  17. S, you tried the 701's which have an undercut cavity so of course they were more clicky! (^_^). We're talking about a wedge versus an iron with an undercut cavity.... epon wedges are butter.
  18. Anytime my friend, hope you have a great season with these FW's!!

Maybe the way I took the photo... I just pulled out the 5 iron and it looks pretty square.
  20. At the moment they are pretty much the same wedge as being released in the US. We're waiting to see if they do a limited run again like they did with the Liquid Chromes. So as of now, there does not appear to be any differences except for the M10dB and NSpro being offer as stock whereas in the US it's DG only for stock.
  21. Sorry to hear about the wedges D, but I'm glad that our discussions leading up to your decision to get the 701's with Axiv worked out great. I love my 701's and don't see myself changing them out for anything else even though I switch clubs like crazy.
  22. Sounds very promising! Straight is good, and once it warms up and your swing is in sync, you should be able to draw and fade this club. Definitely an aesthetically pleasing shape and design. the M3 Hit has been a best seller for a long time in Japan and they made it even better with this square faced more compact tour version.
  23. Just as I said in my first post (^_^)
  24. Hi Kent, Off the bat, it "appears" it's just a re-badging though there may be minute changes that I can't visually see. Once more info comes out we'll know for sure. Honestly it wouldn't make sense to me just to re-badge the SFI so there may be some changes we don't know about yet.
  25. Royal Collection is releasing it's new lineup called the cvXer. The cvXer driver is RC's largest ever at 460cc and is available in 9 10 and 11 lofts. There's also a new cvXer FW and Utility. The Pro TP FW for professional level and low handicap players is still part of the 2008 lineup. They've also added a new super forgiving iron, from the Star FD line. The FD Forged (most of us recognize this Endo forged head as the Type X iron!)
