  1. For me the best looking TourStage irons are still the Z101's...All the TS feel and play great but the Z's take the cake on looks for me... :tsg_smilie_cool:
  2. That is so awesome looking! o(^^o)(o^^)o わくわく

    Then there's the V-301's.... :tsg_smilie_cool:
  4. That's an awesome price... won't last long! (^^)
  5. This was asked a few weeks ago and the topic is just down the page. I've never heard of them and TSG said he's never heard of them either or seen any advertising to do with them. :tsg_smilie_smile:
  6. Looks like no 16* 4 wood as always from Tourstage... I'd love to drop the 3 and 5 and carry just a 4...
  7. Noticed in Golf Gear and GDO that the New X-drive has already been put into play by numerous Tourstage Pros.... Looks awesome! I may finally own a Tourstage driver when this comes out. (^_-)db(-_^)

A set just sold on ebay and I was tempted to get them to try. Still used by Japanese Tourstage Pro Mogi Hiromi. She has said that the thicker topline and are larger heel to toe like the TS-202 give her more confidence. Just as soft as all Tourstage offerings. The appear to have less offset than the TS-202's so in no way I'd say they're for noobs. You can see them in her bag here: http://www.golfdigest.co.jp/news/pro_gear/lpga/h_mogi.asp
  9. Thanks for the feedback. :tsg_smilie_cool: So you found the viq forged rather forgiving, as forgving as the TS-202's? I've heard a few comments that they are more for players and low handicappers.
  10. Let us know how that axiv performs in your 425. I'll be putting the Code 6 in my R7 425. :tsg_smilie_cool:
  11. I've read a few brief comments on the ViQ Forged here but no real feedback on the New ViQ. I'm looking at both sets and trying to compare offset, forgiveness, construction and playability. I cannot find the definitive answer on whether the New ViQ is forged or not? I'm guessing it's the more forgiving set? Anyone here ever own a set or play a set? Thanks! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  12. As far as I know it's a DFI only Diamana. It's not quite the same as the one in the Sasquatch. Some people find the flex a bit weaker and whippy but I liked it and thought it had some kick in it. On the DFI it's called the Diamana Amorphous. It's not a bad shaft for it's weight but of course nowhere near the quality of the Diamana blue red white.
  13. Well my code-6 arrived yesterday... I just need to figure out which driver to put it in. Looks awesome... It's so.... red. I could put it on display. :tsg_smilie_cool:
  14. I think I will try it in the DFI first since that's the club I've been playing, that way I'll be able to see how the shaft has changed my flight compared to the Pro Launch Blue that was in there. I don't like the way the PL Blue feels though, boardy and no feel in my opinion. I don't think the Code-6 will be like that.! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  15. Chris, when my Code-6 arrives this week, based on it's chracteristics and your experience which head do you think it might work best with? I currently have ready to be re-shafted: Nike Ignite+ DFI 460 10.5* Bridgestone J33R 460 10.5* Srixon W-505 10.5* TaylorMade R7 425 11.5* Of course I could always try the shaft in all of them! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  16. I started golfing using several cast sets from TM, and after playing with forged sets from Mizuno, Tourstage and Srixon, I can never go back to cast. The feel of forged is definitely softer, the quality of the finish better, and so pure when you hit a great shot. I forgot what cast feels like already...
  17. Thanks Chris for your results as always. What kind of ball flight are you getting with the Code 6? And how about spin?
  18. I have two ViQ's a 1st gen U3 19* and a new ViQ U4 22*. Both are pretty easy to hit. I'm itching to try the G-Field utilities... if I can get around to getting some. :tsg_smilie_cool:
  19. If you have contacts in Japan, MR-23 Blades used are around 400-600USD and on one site alone I saw nearly 20 sets. MR-23 US Spec go for around $300USD and on that same site there were more than 25 sets...
  20. I currently have a set of Srixon I-506 in the bag that I've pretty much sold to a local buyer here. I'm trying to choose my new gamers. It's going to be between TS-202's I have or a set of Z-101's that should arrive any day now. The TS-202's are pretty easy to hit, and are shafted with Nippon NS Pro 850GH shafts. I have a spare set of NS Pro 850GH that I will also be putting on the Z-101's so I will be able to hit them side by side to compare. I'm a little concerned cause I don't have that much experience hitting irons with little offset. They're two rather different sets each with their own characteristics, but one thing they have in common are that they are both awesome forged TourStage irons. Which set would you choose and why? :tsg_smilie_cool:

I think they look a lot like the I-506's head and grind wise... they look like they have much less offset or none at all unlike the I-506's... very nice looking.
