  2. ANYONE KNOW WHAT AND WHERE TO GET THAT MATERIAL THANX MONK
  3. Hey , What was the material that was used to modify the R7' forged cavities and did it add any noticable weight to the heads and where could i get it and in other colors like blue or orange although the black carbon u used looked great. Any info or input would be greatly appreciated Thanx Monk
  4. Have no clue what MOI matching is other than moment of inertia which doesnt matter in clubs as much as in putters so so says the technitions at Taylormade thats why they are not introducing a square shaped driver but thats off the subject i guess from what your saying is i should not reshaft these R7 FORGED AS I COULD NOT GET THEM A REASONABLE SWINGWEIGHT AT THE ADDED LENGTH just for information what weighting would i find if took a shaft out of the retail head i assume putty weight in the shafts? i assume u have reshafted a couple of the retail sets Thanx Monk
  5. I'm thinking about reshafting these that have the S-200 in them which are 37.75 in the 5 iron and reshaft with either 1150's project x or black gold either 38.25 38.50 or 38.75 and getting a swingweight in the D-3 to D-5 range in other words i dont want to go 1 inch longer and end up with swingweights D-8 to E-0
  6. What about adding length to make them 3/4 -1 inch over and swing weight what are inside weighting wise and are the weight of these heads condusive to longer length? Project X flighted Black gold or NIppon 1150 1 inch over Thanx Monk
  7. Ive been playing with Mx-23 for a few years and are hitting these a club to a club and a half longer some times. not playing great but I'm looking at new clubs and have been looking at the Epon type J or the new R7 tp and or the new R7 all with steel shafts My specs are Plus 1 inch and standard lie if i get the R7 forged i then have to reshaft them or at least extend them 1" which im not fond of doing If anyone has any input or if the guys at tourspec have any thoughts i'd be interested in hearing anyones thoughts nwell thats mt first post here Thanx The monk ps i hit my 9 iron about 150 in the air
