surely its only an independant test if you put the 2 heads on identical shafts. The roddio should be way better the the fuji in this case. You maye find that the ft-5 consistantly outdrives the Epon with Roddio shaft installed. Be interesting to see how a roddio would go in an ft-5

How about the Axiv V-spec 7068 i think that would fit you quite well if your swing speed is accurate. Or maybe one of the new Roddio light weight shafts if you are feeling wealthy.

i think i am right in saying that your bridgestone irons are endo forged in which case the epons should be similar if not nicer as i am told endo save their best steel and processing for their own epon brand. You do have some serious shaft combinations though which can obviously make a huge difference to feel dont you think?

Yes mate i am the first to admit the shanking is totally my fault with a dodgy swing. i was just saying that if i didnt have these periods where i get the shanks my handicap would be lower than it is. Hi Guys I currently use callaway x-tours and find them very forgiving. I was just wondering out of the 2 irons mentioned above which would be best for a 12 HCP golfer. My handicap would of been a lot lower by now i would of hoped but i have had some serious sh@nkin problems for a while now so its not dropped. I have hit the type-s but only a 3-iron unfortunately. It was shafted with a nippon 1150 tour which felt lovely and seemed forgiving enough especially for a 3-iron. Got the chance for a reduced cost set of nc1's so would like to know you guys thoughts Thanks in advance.

Hi Alpha I preferred your old set mate, could you not hit the type-j's? Bit of a backwards step to go with the r7 tp's imho. Still whatever you feel most confident with i guess is what you should use. Nices bags anyway whatever you play.

I too would be very keen to hear TSGers thoughts on this one. I have one on its way with an Axiv-v 7068 after the fitters recommendations. My only worry is i dont launch the ball that high. Does anybody play them with a Diamana redboard
