  1. Yup...I've had (and still have) most of Chris' list--the lone exception is the CV Pro. I'm still both disappoited and enchanted by the Maru. I still say it is like the worst kind of woman--beautiful, seductive, and ill-tempered.
  2. I"ve always known the Type275 to be non-conforming and the 8* 9* Type 315 ProSpec to be conforming. Never understood (technical reasons) why the smaller of the two was non-conforming. Personally, I ALWAYS hit smaller drivers better. The RX-1 Type315 is as good as anything I've ever hit. 'Still played one up until mid last summer. At first I didn't know which I preferred better, the J340 or the RX-1. Went with the J340 because it's a little bigger and sits open; the RX-1 tend to be square to .5* closed. The RX-1 seemed to be a little longer. Bottom fell out of the market for RX-1 last summer. Most everyone believes the smaller clubs aren't as good as larger heads--I tend to disagree.
  3. So I'm finally getting my XD390 dialed in and it's doing a nice job. I don't need 2 highend Tourstage drivers.... FS: 9.5* (just checked it today) Tourstage J340. Condition is 8.5 (or better)/10. Sole marks mostly. (S)Fujikura 652, 44.5", D2--Tour Velvet grip. Headcover included. (Ground) Shipping and PayPal included: $650 No PM or email please. First one to say they want it, I'll confirm here. My PayPal is [email protected].

Blue/Black metalic best describes the color of my head. Thank god my club is stil in great condition. I don't know that I could get that beautiful color back. AGG, if the head is not foamed then I'm even more amazed at the feel. 344cc or 340cc, blah...blah...blah. It has perfect size, shape, and dimension. Other than the RX-1 Type315 I can't get any other Tourstage drier to perform as well as the J340. I thought the Maru Spec. felt a little better, and maybe it's a little longer...but nothing performs, looks, and feels as good as the 340.

Check this thread out: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/magazine/modul...&highlight=j340 ..and some pics: Sorry! I've never seen a left handed model.
  6. Same here...well, maybe if they were square instead of .5* closed. Still I'm pretty damned pleased with my original.
  7. I want a Tourstage carry bag, black with white letters, but no one will sell me one. I keep asking and no one replies. Image that....
  8. I have one for you. $500 w/ground shipping included. (Not negoitable. Don't want to trade for anything other than a 9.5* Titleist/Fuji 983e. U.S. shipping only.) 9* Prospec 44.5" Graphite Design Blue G series - JYS6.5 - 68 2.8 mid-kick (This shaft is GREAT.) Headcover included. Tourstage Cord. Condition is 9 or better. PayPal me today and I am able to get it out immediately. If you aren't able to reply soon I might be kind of delayed getting into USPS. PayPal: [email protected] I can't get pictures today either. You're going to have to just trust me. I'm known here and elsewhere...I'm sure folks will vouche for my word. Thanks. Dwayne
  9. I had the Maru Spec. and was very inconsistent with it...so I am (reluctantly) agreeing with DM. The damn thing is like a beautiful babe with a hot body but ZERO brains. No matter how much you want something meaningful to come from the relationship, all you'll get is a few good hits and a ton of frustration for your effort. As for the 390, I'm just now giving it a shot. So far I find it to be nearly as sweet as the Maru, a tad more forgiving but still demanding. I'm sure my j340 just snickers at me...I keep trying to find something better but can't. If you catch the 390 just right the damn thing is as long as anything out there. Now, if you wan't a can't miss Tourstage driver just sit on your perch and wait for the next J340 to be offered for sale. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
  10. I should be receiving a 390 next week...that is if the guy ever confirms shipping. I'll let you know my thoughts of the xd then. The TP510 feels better that the Fusion. The Fusion was a bit longer. Neither of these felt as good to ME as any of the Tourstage drivers I've own. I currently have a J340. When I last did a driver test I had a RX-1 Type 315. The TP was longer than the RX-1 by 5 yards or so. I'm hoping the 390 (being newer technology) makes up the 5 yard gap and still retains the sublime Tourstage feel. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. (BTW: I found both Titleist E and K longer than any other club mentioned above...and are my choice other than Tourstage.) (P.S. Tourstage MR23 U.S. Drive Maru Spec. is the best feeling driver on the planet.)
  11. Where (location: country) will you be shipping it from? I have mild interest but the deal has to be right...got pics?
  12. IS THIS THING STILL AVAILABLE? I'LL TAKE IT IF IT ISN'T, PENDING REVIEW OF PICS. PM me - or EMAIL: [email protected]

This is a very good club, everyone. Supreme golfers like Speeder617, agoodgolfer, and dadriver have all previously endorsed this baby. :D
  14. dadriver replied to pdt's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Absolutely not. The 101s have very minimal offset, less even than the MR23 US Spec.
  15. X Flex, Standard tipping--club plays at 44.5".
  16. I play a 652 and have a higher swing speed (108) and make a fairly agressive move on the ball. I don't have problems with hooks with this shaft I've also have played the predessor to the 652, the 661. No hooks. Now...my combo does seem to EASILY produce nice draws where usually I don't expect them; they are truly draws and not baby hooks. I guess I can envision that if you already have a hooking problem the 652 can exacerbate it.
  17. I'm moving to the Portland area in April. I'm in....
  18. Black. White letter. 2003 model. NEW!!! Thanks. (Please send pics to [email protected])
  19. I also see a lot of F-STs...'Dem so great FWs, yo'. What's up with the bros playin' the T100? ;Eyecrazy
  20. Do it.... Just Do it! This driver has your name written all over it! :lol too funny Da's such a TS ho'! he's been there, done that already i'm sure... Remember I had one with a 771TA in it. This club beat me into submission...but sometimes I STILL miss that sweat feel/sound. It's definitely one of the all time best feeling/looking drivers. Too bad I'm such a hack. I just wonder if the 660TR would be easier to hit. I'm waiting on Patrick to give me his impressions. He has one of these combos.
  21. Don, it's 95g, midhigh, 3.6 torque shaft. The feel is very smooth and soft for such a heavy shaft, and it gets ball airborn easily. It doesn't feel that heavy so it may be counter-balance...I'm not sure though. If you want a heavy weight shaft that makes you feel you don't have to swing hard to get it to produce, or just want a shaft that doesn't leave you feeling that you just hit a board, then this is the shaft.

Chris, do the ViQ have square faces? Please tell me more about the design. Thanks.
  23. Wow! Soooooooo tempting..... ;silly
  24. I thought that was the case. Good job, E!
