  1. 2013 Driver - PRGR T.388 Personally I thought the Maxima was a let down compared to the previous models FW - PRGR XV's If the Labospec F358 had a 3 wood available when they introduced the 5 and 7 FW it would have my vote. Rescue - Callaway Legacy Black. The smaller head and flatter lie made this the best performer for me. Irons - Tough one here but... Yamaha Tours - Callaway Legacy Black Stenson model right behind. Wedges - Miura MB-5000WC Putter - Do I even have to say..... Gold's Factory
  2. C, Have you had a chance to see where his SS is at?? Glad to see him back at it, for both of you. :)
  3. So because it didn't feel "god awful" on mis hits that tells you it's forgiving even though the dispersion was not good? Off center hits were bad (despersion) the ones nutted were great. Sounds like a great driver that's not very forgiving, which is what you're going to find regardless of how it feels.
  4. Need lie angles please.
  5. I'd buy this in a heartbeat..... if I didn't already have one....

    What T said.
  7. Would strongly agree with above posts. For whatever reason the MT (for me) is the easiest one to get along with. The AD-DI requires the best swing.
  8. Congrats Tae, If they were mine....... I'd probably hang them on the wall and dream about playing them.
  9. I still don't see it....
  10. Now if I could only demo a GD MT6 before making a purchase. That is the only other shaft that is rumored to be a perfect fit for this head. Having played both shafts in the Gloire.... IMO the LD is the lower spin of the two. I don't have #'s but I'd be willing to bet somewhere around 500+ more with the MT. Granted the LD was a bit more "stiff" then the MT flex for flex but you could tell by ball flight there is a difference. For ME: The difference in forgiveness between the sldr and the Gloire are significant with the Gloire being much more forgiving. As crazy as it sounds I swear a couple of my mis hits have been my longest drives. I also have no trouble working the ball with the Gloire. .
  11. What i would add to DH's review is just how solid they are. Off center hits are very forgiving as well.
  12. T, Do you think the PW wedge design will be offered in "wedges"? 50-52-56-58 etc. Any or all?
  13. I'm not convinced that the Shaft tips are compatible/interchangeable. R1-New Gloire.

Must admit I'm looking forward to your review.
  15. Punishing on mis hits As I posted before: IMO the sldr is made for the better ball striker with high SS's "It is not forgiving. It does not produce the "wow factor" with slower SS's as the ball does not spin enough to stay airborne. For the middle to high capper the sldr is not even close to the best option out there." I have four playing partners that ran out and bought the sldr. They are 15-20 hndcps. Not one of them have the driver in play anymore. Good swings, great results. Avg. to bad swings, bad results. There is just simply no forgiveness in this head. The really good ball strikers = great driver. Beyond that too many other better options.

Funny you should say that about the new Egg stock shaft. I'm hitting it so well I don't know what shaft to put in that could possibly be any better. Almost afraid to even experiment. Have you hit the newest Egg ? I must admit the Gloire 3fw is excellent but I think I'm liking the Egg better as it seems to be just slightly easier (for me) to launch off the deck. I put a Diamana B in mine (Gloire) and that seems to be a good fit as well.

I think you're behind a model with the Egg. There is a new release that has replaced the HD as the "newest model" Having said that the HD is excellent. The new Egg is even better. Because I use a 3 wood primarily off the deck I would throw my vote to the "newest model" Egg.
  18. GD MT6 feels nothing like the DI. Much smoother, no where near the same (harsh) feel. Quite smooth actually and I can tell you it goes very well with the Gloire. I've tried the DI in a Driver, FW and the Ute shaft. Didn't like anything about them. That reminds me.... I have some Di's for sale.....
  19. Lets see.... this will be gone in 10-9-8-7...... Wish I could afford to give clubs away!!!!!!!
  20. If you get the #4 to use as 4 iron replacement.... it won't work. Too long. Will be great to replace the 3 iron however....
  21. IMO the sldr is made for the better ball striker with high SS's It is not forgiving. It does not produce the "wow factor" with slower SS's as the ball does not spin enough to stay airborne. For the middle to high capper the sldr is not even close to the best option out there.
  22. The correct adapter has loft adjustment only The correct adapter for the new Gloire is the same as the SLDR. They (adapters) are not all the same.
  23. Guess if you're playing a blade you would hitting the sweet spot more times than not....
