Fourteen Hi-550
I have an hi550 (3) with the graphite stock shaft. very, very easy to hit. I prefer an FW wood... but that is just me. If you like the look of an iron instead.. this is a great club. It sits at the end of my bed in case an intruder makes it past the dogs... $95 shipped.

Gold's Factory Private Stock #2
Just wanted to say, 3 months later and I am still playing with this Putter. I have friends that have lost bets because they never dreamed I would play with the same Putter for this long. I have no intention of changing. I absolutely love this Putter. It's the Putter . .

Gold's vs. Yururi cavites
I have played the Golds, they are fantastic. They setup very nicely and very easy to hit. They look much better to me as the Yururi's are much to busy for my eye. And yes, they feel like butta, and are still very forgiving. I have not hit anything that has felt better. If not for my Factory custom made EPON's they would be in my bag.

F/S Golds Factory Cavity Back Irons
It kills me to sell these clubs... but they are just sitting here, begging to go out and play. They are outstanding clubs in every way. Feel, playability, looks, consistency, you name it and these clubs will do it. I just simply have to many sets right now. When they are gone I'm going to hate myself for selling them. 3-PW S200 - Stiff Factory Length, Loft & Lie I have played 4-5 rounds with them enjoying every minute. No range time. They still look brand new, I always keep my irons covered, and cleaned after every shot. No bag chatter $1,325 Delivered more pics and info by request

General BS Thread
idrive replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearThis thread seems to have died off... too bad!!! Well FWIW I had a great day on the golf course today. Got out early in an effort to beat the heat. I went to the course to practice the Chikara's, maybe hit a couple at the range and them Putt a few. After about 25 wedge shots the starter yelled at me and told me he had a spot open if I wanted to play, so off I went. What I didn't know is they had punched and sanded the greens the day before. For the first time in my life I hit every green in regulation on the front 9... not one birdie, felt lucky to only 3 putt twice. Good greens 2-3 under. Punched and sanded, 2 over. I didn't play the back nine. Still had a great day!!!! Anyone else get out today?? I'm most likely going to get up early and get to a different course tomorrow.. provided I don't have to many Margs with dinner tonight.

question on roddio w6ba sr
- Review - EPON 3 Wood 15* with GD Quattro 75S
I've chimed in several times before as I have this exact set up. Nothing else comes close.- Blades... too many options
re your post #19 + 1, or black golds- Blades... too many options
I'll agree with you that the J's are not a true blade. "Players Cavity back" is what I would call them. But I find that MOST players do not have the game to play a true blade. IMO you don't buy a blade to develop your game, you need game first, then blades. I think that if it came down to getting a blade I would probably choose the Tourstage.- Blades... too many options
The cb1006 irons have the thinnest top line of the cavity back Irons I have played. Looking down at them at address you could mistake them for a blade. If I'm not mistaken the 202 is pretty much the cb1006 made and marketed for the US. Depending on the shaft they have an excellent feel. I am always trying out different Irons. But... When it comes right down to it, for me, nothing has yet to top the EPON J's with the black gold shafts for feel and consistency.- Blades... too many options
IMO There are a lot of excellent irons available. You either need to be a millionaire so you can buy all the top clubs, or decide what it is that you want in an Iron... feel, forgiveness, looks, brand, etc. Muira= excellent. at least two or three models EPON = excellent Mizuno = excellent - I played my custom set of MP60's today for the first time, I loved them. Yururi = Excellent Golds factory = Excellent Tourstage = Excellent XXIO = Excellent The list goes on and on. Next, the shaft.... It never ends... ALL of the top Japanese brands are excellent. Decide what you want. Have the Irons custom built.. and you will be one happy camper. Don't look back, know that you are playing the very best Clubs in the world. The custom build part... is what makes this site, all of these Irons, unbeatable. I'll never be able to say enough about Chris and- For the better ball striker.......which driver?
When I got my EPON 460 w/roddio shaft it was up against the tourstage 460 and 430p. I liked it but wasn't overly impressed. Slowly it kept edging upward. Now... It's the only Driver I'm playing with. I can do anything with it. I am calling my shots!!! The look on other peoples faces... Priceless. I want to emphasize that when I initially tested it I just wasn't overly impressed. But after learning the driver it simply has no overall match.- EPON HG Wedge
no... ended up with the Chikara's- How much is too much???
Exactly, I do roll the ball whenever possible. Depending on how far off the green and how much I have to work with I will use almost any club in the bag to chip with. BUT, when there isn't much green to work with the answer is flop it up to the pin and make it stop. I love throwing darts at the pin. Practicing the lobber and knowing how much to open it, how hard to hit it is the way to go. Stroke saver 101....- How much is too much???
Spinning the ball... The ball you are using makes a difference. The Green itself makes a BIG difference. The lie of the ball makes a difference. Type of shot makes a difference I'm sure I'm forgetting other variables. I've hit 15 yard shots with a full swing, I've hit them with just a tap... Closed face, wide open face... Wedge play is the most challenging shot in the game. One of the few shots that is different almost every time. but I'm with you on this one Mjr. D. The EPON wedges are fantastic. I've hit most every wedge out there and the EPONS end up back in the bag. As far as to much spin? As long as you can afford new Golf balls is there such a thing?? and... the EPON FW's rule... IMO- Best Paint for Paint Fill
I guess I lied.. I said I was going to leave them raw, but I think I'm really liking this copper color. First attempt ever... I think I'll add one more coat, clean it up a bit more and then take on the other two. I've kind of surprised myself, turning out better than I thought it would. This light makes it look more orange than copper. When I'm done with all of them I'll post them in the Chikara thread.- Happy birthday Gocchin!
idrive replied to Spoon's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearHappy Birthday T- Square Face Fairway Woods
My answer is almost always EPON. No different this time. My suggestion, 1-2* open, Axiv-v shaft... slightly weakened grip... Say good by to the left side.- What's your guys take on Mike Austin. Check this out.
I agree with a lot of that. I watch people on the driving range try and teach themselves this swing. What a disaster. I'm not sure that without a swing coach that trying to switch to this is a good idea. Being taught from day one... maybe, but trying to teach an old dog doesn't make any sense to me. It will be interesting to see how long this new "fad" lasts. - Review - EPON 3 Wood 15* with GD Quattro 75S
