Wedge Choice - Epon X-Model or Tourstage 2007 X-Wedge
One problem with the Copper X wedge you guys should know about... The finish on this club is so incredible you may not want to hit it!!! If ever a Golf Club can be good looking, beautiful, gorgeous etc., this is it. I must have 50 wedges. I practice and play with the Epons. Best feeling, most versatile wedges I have found. I have a great sense of confidence with these wedges. Best feature for me is the consistancy I'm getting from shot to shot. As far as wearing goes. I have a Copper X 56* I only use for practice. After about 500 sand shots and another 500 flop and chip shots, the club is wearing quite nicely. Still looks great.

Epon Iron Classification Clarification
Played Golf with my buddy today who carries a rescue from 5 iron on... Standing on the tee box, waiting to hit. I handed him my 4 iron and set an old ball down and had him hit it out in to the Desert right behind us. He's convinced he can't hit a 5 iron, 4 iron etc. He takes a swing and creams it. Ball takes off, perfect gentle draw. My guess.. 190yrds. He's basically stunned. He's starting to show this grin but wait... gotta hold it back... can't do it. Me "How'd that feel" Him, stunned never can fully answer. Apparently the feel of the J irons can't be fully described. Callaway lost one today.

Pics of a Very Fake Scotty Putter!

Pics of a Very Fake Scotty Putter!
Someone has cleaned the bottom off. The vertical stamping, which would be beyond rare for that putter, should be on the other side of the circle T. I'm not sure it wasn't a Titleist Putter, Midslant longneck? Just not a circle T The script is wrong on the Vertical stamping too.

2007 Tourstage X-Wedge w/PICS!
I can't wait for a review. I'm curious how the spin rate will compare to the Epons. Great looking wedge!

Epon Iron Classification Clarification
Started out as curiosity... had to hit the J irons. My ball striking has been pretty good so I wanted to compare the two. The feel is just outstanding!!!!! Forgiveness is almost equal to the S's. Both are outstanding irons. I think it just comes down to how much forgiveness you are looking for. The S's do hit the ball a bit farther, but this is the one thing that is not imprtant to me.

Tourstage 2007 X-Drive, Epon 460, or J33R 460 ?
It's all about getting the right shaft. Pick the right shaft for your Epon and you can take the right side or left side out of play... Promote fade, draw... The point is research and pick the right shaft for your swing, for the Epon and Enjoy. IMO

Wedge selection help please...
I have played every Vokey wedge from Prototypes to spin milled. None of them compare to the feel of the Epon wedge. I have X wedges and Technity wedges. I believe it comes down to what finish you want as they are both quite similar. The only problem with the Copper X-wedges... they look so incredible you don't want to hit the club!!!! But you do... smile and hit another... No problem recommending an Epon wedge. I have not had the pleasure of playing a scratch wedge.

Epon Type S vs. Fourteen TC-770
I have played the CB2 and the Epon Type S. IMO the Epons are much more forgiving. They also have a much more "solid" feeling... and still feel like butta. You want to tell your playing partner how good the shot you just hit felt. Can't tell you about the TC-770's.. wish I could. Good Luck

Wedge shafts?
I've never seen or had a wedge with a reg. flex. Always been Stiff or wedge flex. I would think it would come back down to your swing speed or stay consistant with the rest of your clubs. IMHO

Should I really go for it?? Epon Technity 460
IMO Make sure you get the right shaft for your swing and desired ball flight and buy the Epon. You simply can't go wrong. Very forgiving. I think you will find yourself hitting more fairways. take a lesson when the Epon arrives... Let us know how it goes.

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
Tourstage 430P w/quattrotech 65 S vs Epon 460 w/Axiv-v 7072 For me, The Tourstage is now in the bag. My ball flight is lower, much more penetrating... This combo is producing the ultimate ball flight for me. AND, I'm hitting the ball farther, noticeably, with every bit of the accuracy and forgiveness of the Epon. I didn't think the Epon could be beaten. It would be very interesting to put the quattrotech shaft in the Epon... and I was told today they had found the cure for buying a new club every time they come out with a new one.. it's called death! The only known cure.

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
Lucky... I've had this club ordered since early December!!!

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
On a good day, 105. I don't think I would even consider the X-stiff. It took a good swing to get the kick from the shaft.

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
notice the face has grooves all the way across.

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
460, the 460P (fade bias) with an X-stiff shaft would not work for me. Just back from another long practice range session with both drivers. I alternated shots, hit 5 with one and the 5 with the other.... back and forth. Most of what I had experienced held true. Different ball flights. Both of these drivers are awesome. 430P for windy days???? Epon for nice days????

shaft question just got my irons ?
I, personally am not a fan of the NSPro shafts. After my own personal experimenting... I have found the TT Black Gold shafts to be the best yet. Especially for someone that has played or been playing S200-300s What I like is the lower ball flight, feel, but most of all, the consistancy. Didn't feel like I had that with the NSpros. J A T

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
I have the Quattro Tech 65. Stiff Flex. Quattro Tech Shaft weighs between 65 and 67g depending on flex and has a torque rating of 3.6-3.8*. Initial feeling and commented by others too, was the shaft seemed quite firm, at least for a stiff flex. Can really feel the low kick, especially when I have been playing a shaft with a much higher kick point.

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
Quick follow up after putting the 430P in play yesterday. Ball flight is a lower, penetrating ball flight. Was Excellent in the wind. I was able to fade and draw the ball without much effort. I can't say the ball went farther with the Tourstage vs the Epon. But on the harder fairways there was more roll with the 430P.. hence a bit more distance. Both clubs could make anyones bag and stick. Both solid, workable and forgiving, with the nod going to the Epon for forgiveness. Lower ball flight = 430P Higher ball flight = Epon 460 I have not had a chance to hit the 460 tourstage yet, very soon tho

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
Took the Driver out of the box and straight to the driving range today. I alternated hitting 5 balls with the 430P and 5 balls with my Epon 460. I am going to play with it tomorrow on a familiar course. If it plays the way it hit and felt on the driving range, with some amount of forgiveness... the Epon will be sitting. Ball flight: Low, Penetrating, did seem to help gently draw the ball. for me this is excellent as I have no problem getting the ball in the air and my mis**ts off the driver are high fades. Feel: Fantastic, SOLID! Look: Fantastic, Setup was easy and natural. Excellent head shape. I loved everything about it. I'll follow this up tomorrow night after playing with it tomorrow.

G-Field GFT Fairway - weights coming loose
I'd say no. It is made for purespin wedges/weights. I'd be very surprised if they were the same. I used a wooden toothpick to check my weights... no scratching.
