  1. The customer requested a flamed shaft on that one.
  2. Thought you guys might like to see this 365g Sollid copper tellurium billet milled
  3. Very true. It is also very difficult to measure loft on drivers consistently from one person/measuring device to another, because curved soles and faces are not easy to measure consistently that may also be at play here.
  4. for every degree open, the driver will have 1 less degree effective loft (assuming the face at impact is square to the target line). For every degree closed, the driver will have 1 more degree effective loft (assuming the face at impact is square to the target line.) The Titleist 907D1 9.5* with a Measured Loft of 11* and a Face Angle of Open 2* will play to about a 9* The Callaway FT-5 9.0*, with a Measured Loft of 11.0* and a Face Angle of Closed 1.0* will play to about a 12* Bottom line is that you cannot judge a club by what's stamped on the sole.
  5. Is fe99.9 a light weight material? D1 swingweight on the SW and C6.5 swingweight on the lob wedge.
  6. Yes, I have tried it. It does not change the roll, but it does change the feel and increases the swingweight a few points because of the graphite butt section. It is nice if you like a shorter putter (parallel butt section makes gripping easy) and/or if you want to re-shaft an older lighter headweight. If you have a soft and solid putter, however, the UST FF may actually detract from the feel. This shaft has it's place, but it doesn't belong everywhere. My $0.02.
