so ive got a fair few putters..........
but i havnt really been taken by the golds ones.
prob bec i have so many others i didnt really pass more than a curious brow over them.
i had a roll with i-drives in july and i was pretty .."wowed" ...by the feel of it with the insert.
but ... having a fair amount of uberschlokkens as it were i didnt give it another serious thought.
so a cpl of weeks ago i recieved my first golds as a bday pressy.
its a private stock no2. no insert and pretty harsh milling.
i havent got any details on it as it was a pressy.
i took it to oz with me and used it inconjunction with another one adn i can def say now...
wowsah.. these are all they are built up to be. its NOT soft like butter like say my hiro matsumoto is.
after 5 days of putting with them id say the yare very firm and stable at impact. theres no pop off theface. and hters no glue to the face, the ball just impacts and rolls withthe minimum of fuss. i did know immediatly where o nthe face i hit the ball which ilove so the feedback is immediate aswell.
glad i got this its a very welcome addition to a burgeoning collection of rollers that wil be MASSIVELY underused.....,
2 thumbs up!!!!
