didnt make it on saturday ,but spend whole day out there yesterday spoke to a few people in depth esp the graphite design guys, t he diamana guys and the ns pro guys got to test the whole shebang of the diamana x range with an epon 152 9.5* head (this head btw is very easy to hit!) the numbers i got on these shafts were terrific it wasnt as low as i though it was going to be but it most def was as tight, dispersion was magic really really tight accros s the whole line iwas hitting the ball badly to the right over all but the blocks were fairway bound or edge of. wasnt getting the hands thru the ball.( back was a bit tired form skiing day before!) but got the last 5 or so pretty well middle of the club and straight started at 60x and went to 70 xx (just for mjr d) best numbers i got was with the 70x backspin was 2000 average 1550-2300 range longest drive was 285 carry 246 head speed 46.7-49 average 48ish mp/s pretty close to these they wouldnt give me the print out. feling, ths shaft felt fantasitic, nothing liek the diamanas of old but then agn not like the crazy either it was more elasticy in the GD BB stlye than the crazy style i THOUGHT. it certianyl was ver y pleasant o hit athe whole range interesttingly the 70s was the one i thought i liked the best, but the guyssaid i shudbe hitting the x the numbers were irrefutable i wil be gettign one of these 100% and im assured they are low laucnhing low low spin nothing at all like the stinger the 70 xx i only hit 2 balls with just o get an idea of how it goes, it certianly didnt overpower me i got it dead straight 270 ish certianly wasnt goting left thatsfor sure hard to say overall bec the head isnt something id play but in a more punchy head i think the 70s might be better suited to be honest. that was the longest shot i got out with a draw. that might be the puppy i think in the punchier head and its def going i nthe yamaha tour 10* bring it on!
