October 5, 200420 yr When I get gear shipped to me from the US, I usually opt for USPS Express Mail, unless person sending has an account with the likes of DHL/FedEX/UPS, its cheap, fast, insured and comes with tracking.

October 6, 200420 yr Do you guys end up paying sales tax? Does it hold things up? I am impressed 17 1/2 tax still makes worthwhile? Maybe for clubs you just cant get in UK I suppose
October 7, 200420 yr Price wise DHL is by far the best we've found, and with delivery times of 2-5 days you can't beat it. If anyone has found better pricing than DHL, I'd love to hear about it. Shipping, just isn't cheap across the pond!
October 7, 200420 yr I get equipment shipped from the US regularly & find that FedEx or USPS are by far the best....although for 45" long clubs, I believe this can be a problem. Sometimes have to a little bit extra due to the length of package. Even though there is 19% VAT here in Czech Republic, its still worth buying from the US. For example, checked out one golf shop here recently, Titleist 980F fairway wood costs around 12000Kc ($450).....scandalous!!!
