October 19, 200421 yr I would like to hear some comments positive and negative from those who have hit them and/or play them. I'm asking about the current model not the ones to be introduced in late Novemeber.
October 20, 200421 yr Sharp grooves, heads are too light. Lots of tape needed. Great head shape, good grind but, the finish won't hold up. If you can overcome the cost, weight, and fast wearing finish, they are good wedges.
October 20, 200421 yr These wedges are sweet, Even some of the TM staffers on the JPGA are using them. Light is correct about the light Swing weight, Its a benefit for wedge feel players. Personally I would send maru's to J.K and get them spec'd out to me. The finish does wear quick, I used to Gun Blue mine to keep them fresh.
October 21, 200421 yr Are these the actual wedges maru plays - same shaft, sw, etc. or just some kind of special edition deal?
