Hope that help!

Joe, what do you mean? Are they off spec weight wise? Off spec as to torque etc. I play with a guy who uses one in his K. He gained 20 yards from shaft switch to Blue Thunder alone no BS.

Off spec doesn't mean you can't gain 20 yards, Switching from what?, What kind of swing he got?, Flex?, lenght? etc, etc. If the shaft fits his swing , any body can gain 20 yards, maybe even 30. Plus 20 yards means nothing if you gain 20% rough hit also, or maybe even gaining 20% OB. :o

It's the same thing i'm buying from any major brand company and put my label and paint on it and spec them out my self and call it "G String"

LOL, your right about the shaft fitting thing. I guess my question should have been phrased like this.....

What does Blue Thunder do? Do they take

1.)the "off spec" 661s/569s/etc and just repaint and sell or

2.)"sort" them out themselves into different models and then sell them?

Option 1 is not good but option 2 is not so bad if you see specs you like.

Also which Fujis are we talking about...Triax or Fit ON/Zcom? or even worse VPs

I have no idea which one exactly, Basically no body knows. For sure Fuji America doesn't like it when BT use "By fujikura" because the quality control is way unlike fujikura at all and if anything wrong people start calling fujikura for waranty issue or just plain simple complaint. How do you feel if you are fuji's customer service?

You're pretty much answered everything your self, plus ask your self if you do need to copy the exact set up that you like w/ BT shaft...what do you think is the chances you will get it right?

Cheers!

Joe, good insight as always.

Another question. Would you know if the "Fujis for _____ (fill in the blanks) Cleveland/TM/GolfSmith" carry the same quality control as the Platform/Speeder/International series?

Otherwise wouldn't that be the same thing. Fuji marketing shafts that are "out of spec" themselves.

To update you on our Biggest Ho in the Philippines. He just bought Japan MP32s. That means he will be moving something else to stay in his 8-9 set limit. I might be looking at hand me down MR23s soon.

Joe,

Willy had a "moving into the new house in the same village" sale. I got away with a couple of goodies.....I'll decide if I'll have the MR23s "Kwok'd" with TX Tours if I don't like the stock DGS200s.

I understand about the Fujis and how strict they can get....we have an "underground charter dealer" here and he has to be very discreet.
