Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has heard or seen the new Titleist Driver. I think they're coming out with one because the 983's are on sale and they've been using them for almost three years now. Also, any info on the new Callaway driver and Cleveland fairway wood would be appreciated. Thanks

Here are 3 pics of the new Titleist driver...

There are no specs available yet on this driver, it will not be available until Spring 2005. It is supposed to be about the same size as the 983 driver.

I have to ask who the awesome abe is on your avatar. Grant

Titleists (2 models, 905 series) will be 400 and 420 (think bloated E & K)

Callaway will have BB454, bigger fusion (I think 460cc)

TM will have r7 HT (think 540xd-ish) + who knows what else

Dont know anything about a cleveland FW

How much will the new bombers be? And any info on the new Cleveland hybrids? I heard there's two of them, on like the Titliest, and one like the Taylor Made. :cleveland:

Nobody knows yet.

I was priveleged enough to hit the callaway BB454 at a recent demo day, 454cc, noew hotter face since USGA changed face rules. I absolutley crushed it, long and straight, awesome club.

A local retailer told me his Titleist rep advised a delay in release of the 905 from Dec 04 to jan 05. How true I don;t know.

That is interesting, my son is an assistant club pro here in Canada, his Titleist rep is just saying in the Spring, earlier would be good.

Im in the buisness in Minnesota and I was told spring sometime. It was kind of gay not being able to see the new drivers and still having to prebook for next year. Oh well. The day and the life of a pro shop employee. :-D Grant

I know for a FACT that Titleist is planning a April 1st launch date for the two new drivers. It is the same idea when they came out with the 983, remember Ernie was killing it early in the season, there was so much hype surrounding the club and they waited till April to put it out there. Same company, same plan.

Why would Titliest only offer a driver at 420 when everyone else is offering one at the 460 limit? Why wouldn't titliest offer a bigger driver?
