November 29, 200421 yr Looking for opinions for those who have hit both. If I have a R7 tour 9.5 will a 8.5 shallow be ok? Also my swing speed is around 100-102. Thanks.
November 30, 200421 yr I have hit both of these drivers and honestly if you find the right combination of shafts and head in the R7 DF model I think that it is a better overall driver. The HT or shallow is not that good...IMHO.....
December 1, 200421 yr I have hit both drivers also...the R7 TP in a 9.5 and a Shallow in 10.5, and I actually liked the Shallow better, felt more solid; however, I kinda side with "tincup" on this one...the Shallow probably had a better shaft for me and I think shaft is the real "key". Personal opinion is sell the Shallow now while they are "hot and rare"...I have heard that TM is going to market a TP Shallow in Spring '05. If I remember, the 540 XD and the R7 Shallow design was for someone that is prone to "hook" the ball. Did I remeber correctly? Help!

Help! my understanding is that the shallow will only be released as a R7 HT...it will be the lower priced one without the magnetic headcover and weights !
