  1. KBS tour shafts are working OK, but no where near as smooth as the Tour Concept shafts that I had in my Bridgestone J33 cb irons. I am playing the J36 black limiteds now....maybe its a different forging??? There was some speculation that they had someone other than Endo forge the J36 irons...don't know but I do know they don't feel as smooth and soft as my J33 with the Tour Concept irons...What is sooooo good about the Epon irons? Do you have any pics of the PW on the 302s? Thanks!!!
  2. Looking to purchase a new set of irons and would like some opinions on JDM clubs. What is the best feeling & looking players CB in the JDM market? I have been looking hard @ Tourstage equipment also Fourteen and Yonex. I have not seen one of these in person so it is very hard for me to know which one to pick. I usually go off of the look of the PW and most pictures don't show the pw. Just want some unbiased opinions and appreciate anyones help. I like some help in the long irons getting the ball into the air and am currently playing KBS tour shafts. Would also like to know what everyones thoughts were on which shafts to play as well. Thanks in advance....
  3. Chris, do you know who forged the J38 limited black irons that I currently play. I assume Endo forges the Tourstage and Fourteen correct? Thanks in advance...
  4. Topic says it all....if anyone has had the opportunity to hit both, please give me your feedback and which one is preferred. Curious which one is more forgiving and has a better look from the top. Looking for feedback on top line thickness sole versatility and level of difficulty to get the long irons in the air. I am sure these both are great irons, but would like to know what everyones opinions are. Currently playing the Bridgestone J38 black limited and would like to try a new set. Thanks!!!
  5. why not look into the TC 1000 irons??? I don't understand why they don't get more love???? anyone with some experience with them and the 301's chime in??? interested to hear which is more playable....
  6. No one at all???????? Tourspecgolfer??? anyone??? u can't tell me that no one has hit the onoff 247 cbs????
  7. Anyone have experience with either one or both and if so what is the differences??? Which one do u prefer?? I am interested in both, but am going to go with one or the other. Which is more forgiving?? Ball flight differences and also sole grind differences? Which one has a more blunted leading edge?? Anyone who could give me more insight would be appreciated. The onoff's look great, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of reviews on them....is that because of the price or what??? Thanks!!!!!
  8. I actually had it kind of narrowed down to the Fourteen TC1000's and the ONOFF 247's as well as the Miura CB202's which as I understand are quite similar? Also the Scratch clubs.....aren't they just rebadged Geotechs??? Certainly not trying to raise a ruckus on that subject just asking a question.....Thanks!! Why is no one suggesting YURURI??? no experience with them or what??
  9. I guess that I took for granted that when I stated that I like the bridgestone J33cb irons that would answer a lot of the good questions that you do raise. I am an average ball striker for height on my shots....my short irons are high enough and my long irons need some height. my misses are normally thin on long irons and fat on short irons..I like to fade the ball....high toe preferred...squarer toe, but not too square like the lehman grinds...no offset in short irons and a little offset in the long irons is fine...thin topline...small PW....wow after answering these questions....I feel like I am never happy!!!!! anyway if anyone else has any other suggestions I would appreciate it!!! Thanks again!!
  10. I would like to thank everyone who has responded and I am taking everyone's suggestions into consideration. I am thinking possibly about a combo set with Miura 202's. I also have been considering epon af301's. If anyone had to choose between the epon's or miura's which one would you choose and why?? Also what about the Yururi line?? No one has anything to say about it?? It is kind of intriging to me...cnc milled?? How is the cb in that line?? THANKS!!!
  11. handicap is 2 and ball striking is fairly consistent. my miss on the long irons is low and to the right if that helps.....Thanks!!! I am going to have to be quite honest on this one....I have taken a liking to the ONOFF 247 cb irons, but am scared that they will not be any more forgiving in the long irons as the bstone j33cb irons i currently play. I don't know if i could hanle the offset in the TC550s.....
  12. thanks for the recommendation...also just so everyone knows.....price is not an obstacle....IF it is worth it, then it is worth it...if u know what I mean!!!! ....sorry i play 4-PW
  13. I am looking for some advice from people who have experience with the new irons for 2008 from Japan. I am currently playing with the Bridgestone J33cb irons with tour concept shafts. I do like the set, but need something new. I would say that I have the biggest problem with getting the ball in the air on the long irons...otherwise they are a nice set of irons....now what I need from you guys is this...what would you recommend from the lineup from Japan in 2008. I have never owned a set of irons from Japan and would like to experience the great feel that everyone says comes with Japan forgings. So with that let me hear some recommendations please and keep in mind I would like to have some help getting the ball airborne with the long irons....Thanks!!!
  14. Bridgestone J33 CBs a LOT better than a lot of people think!!! Give them a try for the price.....
  15. Looks like the I-506 might be getting some play on tour as well. Anyone played this version yet?? If so, how does it compare to the previous two mentioned. Somebody must have tried these irons....come on guys...help a ho out!!!
