anybody think his suspension will be reduced after his appeal is heard

If they show the tape of him going into the stands during the appeal then I doubt it. If he does get it reduced then I'll find something else to watch on TV besides the NBA. They won't get any airtime at my home for many years to come, if ever.

Guy's a nut case from the get go...the NBA's lost it's appeal because they don't really play basketball anymore, just a bunch of really athletic guys running around who can't shoot, pass, run an offense or play defense. They should ban him for life, but since you can choke your coach and still play I imagine they'll tell Mr. Artest he was a bad boy and shouldn't play with others quite so rudely in the future or they will take away his recess.

lol, dont think hell get it reduced, but he most likely will win his case. if sprewell can shoke his coach and still play after he got his suspension reduced, artest will get the same

The NBA is nothing but a bunch of overpaid idiots running around the country making NBA fun babies. The game sucks, the players suck, who cares. I can honestly say professional athletics in the USA are in serious danger of collapse.

You're right. I barely watch the stuff anyways so I don't think they'll miss me too much. I can't really say when the last time was that I sat down and watched a full game of baseball, basketball, or football. You can barely watch without wondering who is pumped full of drugs and wouldn't be there without them, who isn't there because they won't compromise themselves just for a few minutes of glory.

For years it's been very hard for me to see the justification of paying millions to someone for playing a game when so many others do so much more for us by teaching our kids or protecting us from harm and struggle to make ends meet.

So long as people are willing to pay a lot of money to attend the games and cities provide huge tax breaks for stadiums and arenas to be built, we'll see this go on. I'll just do my best to make sure it happens without my money.

i can never watch a full basketball or baseball game. i only watched 3 innings of the game 7 of the world series. the last 3 that were played is what i watched. i cant watch basketball bc its too slow a pace sometimes. i can watch a football game fully, but when it gets boring i change the channel.

to be effective stern has to stand by his word and not let artest play. He needs to make an example of players going at fans so it does not happen again
