Hey every tourspecgolf viewers, the name Slaminsam, is a liar. He was selling a set of Titleist 680 irons, and I replied to him first wanting to buy the clubs. I asked Sam if he was able to accept paypal credit card and he said no because he doesn't have the premium account. He than told me that he would ask his friend if I was able to send the money to him because his friend has the premium account. In addition, he told me that he wouldn't sell the clubs on the side. I then kept on emailing him and calling him about the irons and he never responded. The next thing I found out was that he posted it on ebay. I am saying this so people can be aware of this guy in the future. I am only 16, and this guy likes to lie to kids. Thanks for listening everybody.

Sorry that things like this get posted here. Anyway I decided not to sell the irons and I still have them (Yes I put them on EBAY after I told him our deal was off and I subsequently removed the auction prior to the auction end without selling them). I emailed him and told him that but he was not satisfied. But the way this guy kept calling me and asking for a Credit Card payment made me nervous. By the way Sung my freind said NO to the transaction also. Sung I told you I did not want to do the deal. End of Story. Sorry Tourspec that got aired on the board and my appologies to the members of Tourspec :D .

For what its worth I have delt wtih Sam on numerous ocassions in the past several years and ALL transactions have been great and with good communication.

chris, on a side note, im only 17 but at the time of registration i was only 16 and i dont recall anything about lieing on the disclaimer, i put i was born in 1987 and that was november 2003. birthday is july 4 i turned 16 on july 4 2003 and registered here november of 2003. turned 17 july 04.

As a lawyer, I can't resist this...First, there's no contract until and unless both parties agree to all the terms. Slammer was well with his rights to sell on Ebay, or anywhere else he chose. Second, you don't want to enter into contracts with a minors anyway, as they may later try to repudiate them on the grounds of lack of capacity. As to lying to kids, any parent understands that sometimes you have to...other times it's just fun. Guy's WAY out of bounds here, and I wouldn't sell him sand if I owned a beach.

I have too had a deal with Slaminsam and he is a quality person to deal with. I have also met him in person to complete a deal. Also, I have been scamed on deals with credit cards so I can understand why someone might shy away from such deals.

I think for safer transactions for underage kids is gart sport or big 5. they especially have nice sets of TA 845s and some Golden Bears. didn't know 18- kids could get credit cards. man i'm getting old.

His Vet writes him letters like he was a real person....and, this is scary, he understands most of what you are talking about!!! We had to take him to B'Ham, AL, which is a 2 hour trip...I asked him today if he wanted to go to B'Ham and he snapped at me and went to his pallet and layed down. He was not interested in me or B'Ham!!!! It was not that great a trip for either of us!!!!
