Hi, there are all TaylorMade 300 Irons forged by Miura?

Does anyone know and how do you spot tour issue taylormade clubs do they NOT have serial numbers or are the serial numbers prefixed ore some thing.

Just stubled accros the site and I'm now on it all the time.

Thanks

Hi, welcome to the site,

Your question is a little difficult for people who don't know " know " about Taylormade.

Your in luck cause we got a few people here who do, unfortunately I'm not one of them. I cant tell serial # from chicken scratch when it comes to TM's.

Maybe someone who knows something will chime in...zip?...oneputt?...

I hear that they are forged by the same plant that mizuno uses

Off the top of my head, these are some of the TM 300 forged models that are forged by Miura:

Tour Issued:

TM 300 Lehman Grind

TM 300 Lehman Grind TL2MM

TM 300 NS Grind

TM 300 2MM

TM 300 +2MM

The Lehman grind does not have a stamp, but a chararteristic square toe.

You can find TL2MM, NS, 2MM and +2MM sets both with and without stamps.

There is also an early Japan retail set of the TM 300 that is forged by Miura. The retail version of the TM 300 forged is from what I understand forged in Mexico.

In addition to the info already provided, if the set is new the 5 iron will have the manufact. info on the hosel sticker. Sets are forged in Mexico-Japan & China. Retail versions can come from any 3 of these sites with Mexico being the most common. I have a set forged in China & also had set forged in Japan- both feel extremely solid and butter-smooth.
