Guest
Many of you will know of the affinity I hold towards Gold's Factory. They recently released a mallet putter but I wasn't that keen on the shape. Reminded me very much of an almost identical Bettinardi I had tried but didn't really like. However, I came across one of the Gold's in a store in HK and was fortunate to be able to try it out. All I can say is that this is one pure flat stick with beautiful feel and balance. Was hitting every putt online and the feedback was tremendous. Having just purchased a Odyssey White Steel 5 for the heck of it, it might never see a green if I give in to my urges and purchase the Gold's mallet. The following pics are of the M-401 whereas the one I tried was the M-402. From what I gather, the only difference is in the milling marks. There are some with a blue alignment aid and some with a white one. I also understand that only 200 of these heads were made and that there are no more on order. With the Japan Golf Fair around the corner, HOing season is back in full swing! Check out the putter pics; http://www.golf-rescue.com/goldfactory/m401.html  Didier
Godfather1
Chris will you be getting these? I would take one, I'm just not sure if they'll come out with another mallet I might be interested in. Do you know if this will be the only mallet? There are more mallets to come by GF. and Yes I can get them. but.... A lot of problems come with GF. expect to wait a long time, and no refunds under any circumstances for any GF product. ( even if the head breaks in two as a manufactuers error ) dealing with this man is hell!
Godfather1
Chri, do you haver pics of the others? Should I expect problems with a GF club, I thought these were top quality? What is the cost of the mallets?
+TourSpecGolfer
Chri, do you haver pics of the others? Should I expect problems with a GF club, I thought these were top quality? What is the cost of the mallets? 575.00 shipped. there are currently only two mallets. GF and gauge are pretty much made using the same manufacturing techniques. In fact the owner of GF is a fired employee of gauge as is D.W. You should not expect problems but I cant guarantee anything with these guys. I have had some putters take 3 months, and Sasaya is notorious for shipping out what he has in stock instead of what the customer ordered    another thing is the way he hand stamps...stinks! most putters are advertised to come with a cert. of authenticity but none of my customers have ever received one. When I asked him about sending them, he got upset and he would charge me shipping for the cert. that he forgot to ship. No TSG'r has ever received a cert without complaining. The work is top quality for sure, I would be happy to get you one if your interested. I personally think his mallets are a spin on the M3+, I don't like the face and sole being so shinny, it will scuff very easy like most chrome sole putters.
