Posted December 25, 200420 yr Hey guys, Just wanted to know if anybody knows the hosel length on the X-Blades? Also, can someone tell me the hosel length on the Nike Blades? I'm gonna be switching some shafts soon, and I want to know if I have the right tip length. Thanks!
December 28, 200420 yr have'nt worked on either irons before - but you can email the two companies web sites and should get an answer back on the hosel depths... ken
January 2, 200520 yr That is not enough to tell if those to head are the exact same one to switch the shaft in a snap. You need to ask also what is the distance from the bottom of the hosel to the bottom of the sole, plust you need to check if the depth of the hosel is consistent or not. Even from the same exact head, ussually it has a 1/16" tolerance. The older generation may be worst. Some iron design have a shorter hosel on the longer iron ( If my memory serve me right, a lot of older titleist head are like that ). Joe :cool:
