I have a 14* tour and this is one stellar 3wd. It is outstanding of the tee very long and easy to shape. It can be a little difficult to get up off the deck producing a "hot" ballflight into greens when hit a little low on the face. Well struck shots however are rewarded nicely. (My course has extremely tightly mown fairways.)

The Type H is an excellent 3wd. I found the 15* a monster off the tee, but unfortunately I was inconsistent with it off the deck (probably my swing, and not the club!). The club is reasonably forgiving, and the feel is superb. The feel and sound was far improved over the standard Sonartec SS -02,3s. Find the right shaft combo for you, and you'll have a very solid stick.

Easy to hit off the tee...easier to hit off the deck than the ss03. Feels a bit more solid but just as hot off the face than the ss03. You can definitely control the trajectory on this a lot better than the 03 which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for.

I have GolfRaider's Type-H "cast off" and it is THE BOMB! (GR, what were you thinking?:smile1:) 3wd is always the trickiest spot in my bag to fill. And there are simply NO decent retail FW's, if you ask me. The Type-H has the best feel and ballflight of any FW I've hit. Plus, it looks perfect at address, sits slightly open and looks nice and compact. Can't say enough about it. I'm in the process of having it reshafted with NV95-X. Will report further results after hitting the new combo.

As many of the members have already said, this is one of the most solid 3 woods made.

I have had a 14* and 15* type h's. Joe K. did the reshaft and weighting on both clubs and they have been nothing short of spectacular.

14* was shafted with Fuji HK Pro 80 and this was an excellent combo. Relatively easy to hit off the fairway and off the tee it was pretty much point and shoot. Still kicking myself for selling it.

I am not a high ball hitter and I found that the 15* launched a lot higher than the stated loft. Even with Fuji Pro 95 it was a higher ballflight than a normal 15* FW. Off the tee, these are probably as easy to hit as anything out there.

Excellent feel and outstanding distance.

If you can get your hands on one, you won't be disappointed.
