pdt
I switched to the new iron set and found that DG S300 is a little bit stiff for me ( I don't feel the club head speed and feel little bit heavy) and thinking about changing to either NS-Pro S or DG R300 shaft. I tried NSPro R shaft and it's a little bit soft for me. Would I better off with DG R300 or NS-Pro S shaft? At once time, I played with Rifle 5.7 shaft and liked it.( My driver SS between 95-97mph). HipCheck
I'm similar in swingspeed, and play NS Pros in my 2 hybrids, & 3 wood, and am about to have my Irons reshafted with 950s too. I love these shafts. DGs are too heavy for me, and I just don't load them properly. I've even tried Dynalite and they're just not a good fit. R300 will only save you 2 grams a shaft, so it's not worth the change, esp. for your swing speed.
jeffy
You'll probably like the NS Pro 1050 S flex...feels to me to be about a 5.0 to 5.5 flex, but more responsive than the Rifles. My SS is similar. Jeff
ashryan8888
I would go with the 950s. I've playing the 950 for the past 3 years now. I don't think I would ever go back to DG shafts again.
SwingMan
I went with the NS Pro 1050 Stiff Hardstepped to get a 5.7 type flex- works for me the Stiff is about a 5.3 - too soft for me
