  1. Congrats on the 'new life' down south Pete. Glad it's going well. If there's one course to play at Barefoot it's the Fazio course. Very interesting and a lot of fun. Enjoy it.
  2. I not a TM Fan, but that is :tsg_smilie_cool:
  3. I thought Pete only shows up for 2 Equinox's per year? You're a little early! :tsg_smilie_rolleyes:
  4. rollaman, The wedges are Zodia US Spec. Best wedges I've ever had. So workable. They can be played from anywhere.
  5. BAG UPDATED MARCH 21, 2006: (I'll leave the old pic up there for the heck of it) The slideshow has more detail. Feel free to ask questions. I'll be doing a full review of the Miura CB-301s soon. 6. Well, if I were to believe all rumors, then I by now I would believe: Nike has bought Callaway 14 times TM Tour drivers are made from a super-secret metal in a super-secret factory of super-human welders An XXXX shaft is best for my 100mph swing Phil Mickelson is The Devil in saddle shoes If I spend $2800 on a set of clubs, I will shoot 6-under Gauge US putters fall apart if it's too windy According to an email I received, I am in line to inherit a large sum of money by helping out Mrs. Sese-seko, widow of the late President of Zaire :tsg_smilie_wink:
  7. I should have something this Friday to share...
  8. Hard to believe I'll be playing n Myrtle Beach in 27 days. Freezing rain today. And that's good considering 5-7" of snow was forcast. Winter indeed, Shoe. Winter indeed.
  9. Sweet bag Reid...Is that an 'R&R' purchase? That's a beauty :tsg_smilie_cool:
  10. Made From Scratch! That is the perfect, perfect saying. I love it. Nice job Ari.
  11. That's sick! Beautiful stick! :tsg_smilie_cool: Don't leave that alone or I just might
  12. It was a great time down there. We were at an all inclusive, which was my first time at one of those. Kind of disappointed because the only beer was Dos Equis (not the pilsner either, which I prefer) and no Captain Morgan either (they had some deal with Bacardi). I'm a wuss when it comes to mixed drinks. Anyway, the weather was much better that here obviously, even if it was colder than normal by Cancun standards. We visited some Mayan ruins and swam with dolphins, which was unbelievable! They do this thing called the 'foot push' in which you lie in the water on your stomach with legs straight, and then two dolphins push you along the water. You come rising out of the water, kind of like waterskiing for 100' feet or so. It was so damn cool. Also I got my first round of golf in, on a Nicklaus course at the Moon Palace. Beautiful course (but the help was very unorganized). I played with rental clubs, including Srixon irons w/graphite shafts, so it was a bit of a struggle, but eventually got it going making a couple of birdies and driving a Par 4 green and missing an eagle putt by 3 inches, so I was happy. I was playing w/two other relatives who don't play AT ALL, so I was more concerned with keeping things moving, looking for lost balls and giving advice than watching my score. They quit after 14 holes, so I was kind of forced to quit to. Man, it is not easy keeping patience in that situation, b/c I'm always conscious of pace of play and how ticked off we're making the people behind us. :tsg_smiley_embarrassed:
  13. Hey guys. Talk about lucky, last Saturday, we took off for Cancun at 8am and by 8am the next day we had 30 inches of snow at home! By the time we got back yesterday, there was almost zero snow anywhere and now the temp is back down to single digits :tsg_smilie_confused: . Crazy weather!!!!
  14. :tsg_smiley_yes: I like that headcover, but he kind of reminds me of... FYI, I have a Scotty Smiley Face HC that I use on my Gauge Japan Tubu that fits it fine, so I'd say no problem w/these and a Red X, etc.
  15. I could be with the 'reskinning' of the site, font size, post size, spacing, etc. are smaller, thus shriking it, but posts aren't lost
  16. Shoe, I just got a 460 from Shreveport Golf yesterday w/an OZIK Silver Altus and it's a bomber! I love it. Take for what it's worth but I can't wait to hit the range again tomorrow!!!
  17. I like Bettis, but I'm not thrilled w/these either. Any of the Japanese Market Bettis that Chris can get blow these away.
  18. Miura spin welds their necks because this helps strengthen the soft carbon steel neck. This is a point of high stress during impact, and can throw loft's lies out of whack after a while, especially if you hit of mats, play on hard ground, or have higher swing speeds.
  19. Thanks shoe! Going well so far. It helps to join a new company during the food-filled, lazy holidays. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all!
  20. So hopefully some of you are fans of 'The Office' show on NBC. The latest 'Christmas' episode everyone doing a $15 'Secret Santa' / 'Yankee Swap' in the office for the holidays. One person chooses a gift. The next person can either choose a wrapped gift or steal that person’s gift. If your gift gets stolen than you can steal choose a new gift. Michael, the boss, buys an iPod for someone's gift, completely blowing the budget hoping to win admiration of his employees because of his generosity. Well, I just started a new job this week, and the 17 people in my group decided to do the Secret Santa thing. Obviously, the higher the number in the picking order you get, the better it is for you, b/c you can see what everyone else picked. I, unfortunately, picked first. So I am now the proud owner of a Hot Chocolate Set. Anyway, things are moseying along until someone picks 11th, where someone unwraps a Black iPod Nano! We're all floored! That gets stolen once, and we all have something to talk about for a while. Finally, there is only one person and one person left. Rather than stealing the Nano, he decides to unwrap the final gift...and gets a 60 GB Video iPod!!! Turns out my boss's boss is a big 'The Office' fan, and happened to be given these by a client. Rather than keeping them for himself, he decided to donate these to the Secret Santa. Just good to know there a still people out there, and bosses even, who are genuine and generous. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays.
