  1. Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been posting too much. I've been real busy with my regular job and side work, that the holidays have just crept up on me. Man did this season wind down with a wimper. My last full round was a month ago and I probably played 3 times total in October and November. Hard to believe that I won't be playing until I go to Mexico (w/rental clubs) in February, then have my Myrtle Beach trip the last week of March. I don't have many bag changes planned. I'm happy w/ my Forged SS irons, thrilled w/my Zodia wedges and I just got a Tubu 2 from Chris which I really like. Over the winter, I am trying to get an R7 TP 425cc w/an OZIK from the TM Tour Van. I start a new full time job Monday the 12th doing web development for a national rental car company. I'm anxious and nervous as heck so wish me luck!
  2. I agree those look fantastic shapewise and finishwise. Really sharp. I would lose the script though. I'd try to develop my own font design, like a Gauge or Titleist which has its own look. That font is too common. Sorry I'm opinionated on it. I work in design and marketing.
  3. Happy Thanksgiving guys! Woke up this morning to a coating of snow! Looks like golf season is officially nearing its end :tsg_smiley_no:
  4. Wow. I couldn't hit a beachball with those! Nice set Chris (understatement of the year)
  5. Nice grind on that baby. Is the .R. for Ryan?
  6. Wow, I want I want I want!
  7. You're all missing the obvious. They have bigger bulges in their pants... ...their wallets
  8. Open to trades/offers.

  10. That is THE BEST LOOKING PUTTER I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!
  11. That is absolutely beautiful!
  12. Alan, Sorry to hear about your troubles lately. It's good to get things off your chest, even if it is a little old thread in a golf forum. Personally, I'd keep the dog if he/she is sweet. I have 3 dogs and I wish I could live my life like they do. Pampered beyond belief, always happy, excited to see people, and they love food.
  13. Wow. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the review. I assume it's .860 COR???

  15. LOL. I feel like that avatar everyday. :wah:
  16. Nice round Lance. I've been trying out a few putters lately and just wish there was 30 more grams in the head of those damn 2 balls. I also folded like a cheap suit both yesterday and today. :blackeye:
  17. Ah, Pete, congrats on the honeymoon....can the real one be far off??? My work sux right now, and so does my putting, so I went to Golfsmith at lunch for an extended 'putting session'. Being a mallet fan, I hit everything I wanted to: Red X, X2, Cally Tour Blue Mallet, 2 Ball Blade White Steel, Voodoo Daddy, and a Monza Corza. Surprise surprise there was a Bettinardi BB16 with the copper insert in excellent condition there for $210, which is a good price. I was psyched to try out this heel shafted beauty but much to my dismay, it felt like it was a D-0 swingweight or something. Impossible to feel the clubhead during the stoke :( The two winners were the 2 ball blade and the Monza Corza. I would have taken the 2 Ball in a second, but it's just too light. Really feels underweighted. The Corza really doesn't look very good to me, but I putted best with it and it felt great. The entire face felt like the sweet spot, which is good, because at the saying goes, "It's not how good the good shots are, it's how good the bad shots are." I actually put a bid on one on ebay tonight, but someone outbid me w/50 sec. left by 51 cents, but I didn't really feel like getting in a pissing contest, so I let him have it. :finger:
  18. It's private, but one of the nicest clubs is Reading Country Club. Play there if you can, but do it soon. It's been sold to a developer to build houses on its land.
  19. What up homeboys? Just got back from Vegas for the 4th of July holiday. 110° in the shade all week (dry heat, my ass). No luck at gambling, but got the chance to take in all the sights. Left my camera in a backpack in a cab....GONZO! That sucked. So I had to buy a new one. It's not too fun to have to take a cab to an electronics store... One thing I did notice, is all of the women there are truly amazing looking. Chainsaw, I don't know how you can live there. Too dangerous. I'd walk into things all day :blackeye:
  20. I'd take Johnny Miller over any other color guy, any day. He knows what he's talking about.
  21. Look on the bright side shoe, at least it wasn't something warm & wet!
  22. Paul at Shreveport Golf did my Cobras. He uses a proper finishing wheel. No rust. It's not possible. I'm not sure about doing it by hand. I do know that the finish looks factory on mine. As even as even gets.
