WTS: Cleveland LAUNCHER COMP 460 TOUR 8.5*!!!!

I have pics and references at BSG.

Well, that's maybe where you should sell it for that price. You might have more luck there. No offence, but one of these in 9.5* just sold last week on ebay for way less. BIN was $450. Plus, it came with a way better Fuji shaft.

Keep TSG real. Take the hype somewhere else.

I would love to see the link for it please(email me), if my price is way off base i will surely drop it, and apoligize for any misrepresentation or apparently shady actions. I have seen a few on ebay that say they are tour but are clearly not by the markings on them. Hope this clears up any information. If the one your are talking about on ebay was a 10.5* with the fuji for BIN 450 last week. It was definitely 100% not tour issued, i saw it also.

These are very hard to come by and rare at this time, FYI Ive seen heads alone sell for $500 and $600 each.

Thanks for the warm welcoming,

G-dog

If the one you are talking about is the one below...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7125839531&rd=1

its not what is considered a Tour issue Cleveland Launcher Comp 460 head. The ones I've seen are painted like a regular 460, doesn't say "Launcher Comp" on the toe, says 460 on the heel instead of "Titanium Composite". If you want pictures, I can host them.

The only thing going for that driver listed is not having a serial number but we've all seen fake tour drivers that are retail models with the serial numbers buffed off.

I've been hunting for a tour comp 460 head for a while now and I would be all over this one except for the loft. I need a 9.5 at least.

Lets not get all snippy about a for sale ad. Don't like the price? Don't buy it. This is after all a Tour head which is rare to get. And lets not start another Tour vs Retail arguement, some like hitting Tour heads, some don't see the point in spending the money. Lets leave it at that.

I think you got all upset because of the BSG mention, if gavdog had not put that in, there wouldn't be a fuss over this.

my 2 million dollars

anyway, sorry fo a not so warm welcome but we all here have enough from the artificially created hype on that other forum.

what's so special about a Cleveland tour club anyway other than a .335" hosel?

Thanks you Vincent!!!!, definitely not tour and your right. If you dont like my add, move on.,

I Have pics that show the tour markings.

Haribo in response to your post above.....

I have seen 4 distinct tour markings or lack there of

1) I have seen only one with tour serials TXXXX(most do not have any serial numbers at all at this point and time).

2) the Composite Weve where the face meets the crown is black(apparently less distraction at setup) where the retail it is still the composite weve design.

3) 460 in white on the hosel (is tour marking only)

4) lack of "composite tour" on the back crown (tour distinction also)

*Cleveland Tour drivers for some strange reason come in both tips .335 and .350. If you know anything about cleveland tour items you know this is no big suprise. Most retail irons from cleveland are parallel tip and their tour irons are taper tips. I have no clue why they do this.

I still stand to what I was saying ("Keep TSG real. Take the hype somewhere else.") but I apologize if I stepped on someone's feet. The BSG reference just made me see red. In the last while there are a lot of people showing up here from that other forum, posting only in the B/S/T folder. Not that this is a bad thing, don't get me wrong, but it would be nice if these people would realize that this is a different forum than their old one and treat it accordingly.

Hope what I'm saying makes actually sense. Anyway, sorry if I offended you and good luck with your sale.
