Posted January 17, 200520 yr comment_73100 Played a new ball last 2 rounds, the ball is a given from a friend, it is called Wilson Staff Tx-4. A 4 piece ball with different sizes of Hx like dimples, very bright white. The thing is Loooooooooong. About 10-20 yards longer than the V1(not X) I usually played with, felt a little hard on the wedge spins but still getting the job done around the greens. It does perform much better than the X-01S also. the best thing about the ball is I played 2 rounds with it, and thru all the impacts and wedge plays which I hit down on it real hard, the ball remain 80% intact, even tho the prints for the wilson logo is almost gone. Truely amazing.

February 20, 200519 yr comment_79548 Good info its maybe worth a try, but its going to be hard to beat the new Pro V or the Srixon Z-UR.
February 21, 200519 yr comment_79761 Although the two other balls in Wilson's new staff line-up are already available here, the TX4 isn't. Will try to find out what's what from the local rep. I'm always looking for new high performance balls.
