New Driver Question (Titleist or Cleveland Comp)

Hello,

It's my first time putting up a topic and was wondering if someone can give me some tip....

I currently use the Taylormade Quad TP 8.5 loft.... 757 Speeder shaft... I just wanted to get some more loft on the driver.....

Last weekend, I tried the Cleveland Comp 460 (9.5) with NV 65 on it... I loved it..... Only thing is should I wait for the new titleist drivers coming out.....

What do you guys think.......

I think the two will be very different. The Titleists (905t and 905s) should approximate the playing characteristics of the 983 k & e but larger and more forgiving in size. Cleveland's launchers have always been flat out easy to hit. I think you'll see these characteristics continued in the new models, meaning the titleists will be prefered by better players and the Cleveland will be very easy to hit. What's better for you depends on what you're looking for.

Going with the spirit of TSGers, you should buy the Launcher comp first, get it Kwok'd, and then when the Titleist drivers come out, get those so you can compare. Just sell of the one you don't like! However, it's clearly dependent on what you're looking for. The Launcher 460 is real easy to hit, and I have heard the Launcher Comp is even better. Titleist have always made stuff that is subtle, but very solid players clubs.

As already said, get a good swing session in for all you are looking at.

The COMP is a ***must have***

Easy to Hit, big distance, great accuracy. Cleveland is not playing around with this club.

The New Titleist E is a top performer for length and accuracy.
