So if I want the cavity backs, I really should wait until March?

So if I want the cavity backs, I really should wait until March? If you want the NEW Cb's you should wait till march. I have seen about 6 different MB proto's over the last year. The coolest by far are the version out now and a Tour version which is extremely small, with a paper thin top line. Its like the MR23 blade in comparison and has no mill marks. Only 3 sets were made. Gauge Japan makes excellent Irons made 100% in Japan by a Himeji Foundry assembled in the heart of Shinjuku Tokyo. The first new CB will be for the better player and are made to become a combo set with the MB's. The 2nd CB coming is kinda an XXIO/ X-18 style GI iron. about 10 months ago I seen 4 different proto heads of CB's and wedges. Here is one of the proto options considered yet not selected for the retail production. A Proto wedge that never made the cut. None of the versions in the pics were selected so don't get to hooked on these. The retail product you will see in the TSG Tokyo Golf Fair coverage Feb 23-24-25th will be way more intense and solid. Guest
Nevertheless these are great pics and info. Thanks. So it sounds like there may be no new MBs this year. How do one tell the difference between the different version MBs in the market? After showcasing in Feb, when will the new CBs be available. If they make those black pearl finishes again, that will be cool...

Guest
What is the difference between the two MBs, one with a milled look with the word 'prototype' and the other with a shiny look without the word 'prototype'? There is a huge difference in price.

plus1
precision i know u asked chris that question but, i have both sets. the gauges feel are awesome so sweet! but not quite as solid or crisp as the mr23 us spec. i found i got a better HIT of the ts but nicer feel and forgiveness of the gd. hope that my opinion helps
