Ah...

I was wondering why everyone was buying up my MW53's? Must have sold over 10 since yesterday Had to raise the price when i found out we were almost a hundred bucks less than Todd. Is that where all this interest is coming from? BSG?

Look guys, I sell them all GD, Fuji, Mamiya, Axiv, Mitsu, etc.. if your gonna get brainwashed get it done by me, I carry no inventory and support most brands equally and will tell you this MW53 hype is just that... :tired: Hype. My guess is that someone bought the load and wants to hype n dump.

Here is my list of the sweetest New Fuji's:

- 584HK

- 474

- 764

- MW64

- MW54

- TW54

IMO Tourstage was smart when dumping Fuji and making Graphite Design their Exclusive shaft company. I have never tried a Fuji shaft that comes close to the W60, W70, I-65, M65, and M75 in terms of performance. I hear Fuji wants to hit GD back by dropping prices a bit in the U.S, that should increase their sales but it wont change the fact that GD is the better shaft.

oops, don't want to start a war here.

I was just stating the CmC sometimes---well most of the time thinks every Fuji being released is the best ever. I just think this is not always

the case...If that has anything to do with Todd I have no idea.

At any rate, I dialed in the 671 I got from Jeff, plus I got another Fujis that I have not tested, but the mw64 looks intriguing to me...

and I saw the price change. bummer :(

I think you selling more has to do that with the fact that the shaft is new, and it is cheaper here...than on other places...am I banned now ? I hope not....

Well CMC is pals with some of the top guys at Fuji, He is getting stuff from them for buddy buddy prices then selling it to Todd. There is a money making relationship there and a bias toward Fujikura and because there are no contracts they can sneak them out the door not installed which is unfair to charter dealers in America.

The truth is Fuji makes a good shaft but is in an identity crisis, they are losing the biggest accounts in Japan and have lost a huge share of the market in recent years. Here are some companies that dont carry their product anymore and are GD exclusive as of 05.:

Bridgestone/Tourstage, Fourteen, SYB Concept, Crews Golf, Yard Stick, & Katana.

Why? I have no clue, Fuji prices have gone down and GD prices have gone up yet these companies still form an alliance with Graphite Design.

You might want to lower those Zcom prices and don't judge them by BSG -- the Zcoms are shipping in the US and they seem to be going for about $250 installed - spine and flo - unless one gets a "sweetheart" (frequent customer) deal

I guess the lower value of the dollar really does send the price up (thanks, Mr. Prez).

When I get a little competition I will.

And the 671 is still probably the best Fuji shaft out there...To Chris's list I'd add the TW74. Nice and smooth with a little kick at the bottom. It's the bomb in my J340...

As Mulder would say, "They're out there, somewhere." (lol)

The question is: why do the Zcoms cost as much as Speeders? I thought Speeders cost more to manufacture due to the triax process?

Do you have a general recommendation for one to go in a high launch low spinning head that is 460cc for someone who likes light shafts, is a swinger with a shallow attack, and 95-100mph SS? in a driver and in a FW?

Also, can you obtain some Nippon SuperPeening Wedge Shafts?

Call one of our sponsor club builders. A combination of the proper shaft and tipping could do you wonders.

You're right - must call Joey K after I go on a launch monitor to give him some info.

Chirs,

I full agree with swingman. That Bu!!$h!tgolf place has left a very sour taste with many for his ridiculous pricing and it can be argued that only the ridiculous buy from him. If you do that same, I think you will be no better. Nothing wrong with making a profit but you also have to bear in mind that we are dealing in a global economy and these shafts can be had for much less from a few US contacts as well as many other contacts worldwide.

Use the Hiro putter I got from you as an example. I could have bought it from HK or BKK but as your pricing was competitve, I bought it from you as you are also a reliable seller. But if you had charged a ridiculous premium, I would have bought from one of those 2 markets.

not trying to tell you how to run your outfit. just sharing with you some thoughts from a user perspective in the hope that TSG doesn;t become like that Bu!!$h!tgolf place. One is way more than enough.

Guys we are still below retail on this shaft and still 50 bucks less shipped than that place.

People were buying 4 shafts at a time, when they were priced at 199.00 + shipping

I assume that some of these people had intentions of re-sale.

Anytime you guys see an item priced to high or out of the ordinary give us a call and I will see what I can do for you.

Got to remember though!

25% - 30% ( maybe even a little more for rare and popular items ) on top of the cost + Labor fee are pretty much normal business practise IMO. Off course their are a little x tra for spined , flo'ed and insurance/waranty, After all I'm not doing a cut and glue job only, right? :smile1:

At least all of the above will come in a package out of my hand.

Cheers!

Joe
