+TourSpecGolfer
I call it the retail " Jigga" It is CNC'd out of soft forged carbon steel, the face insert is Aluminum w/ a new milling mark to make it feel even softer. Godfather1
It's a nice putter, but I've never been a soft insert type of guy. I prefer a more firm, and crisp feel.
+TourSpecGolfer
It's a nice putter, but I've never been a soft insert type of guy. I prefer a more firm, and crisp feel. Your Custom GD Japan putter will ship this week GF1, They specifically made the retail line soft because they want to go up against Odyssey this year on the JPGA, Also they have a theory where golfers that play slower greens more often request a softer face. You will see the flat CNC milled faces on the limited issue putters, they will be SS303, 304 & GSS, none forged. IMO flat face is so much better for extremely fast greens that are firm. Its all about how sensitive you want your putter to feel, the deeper the milling the more the contact feel is muted and that is what many call " Soft like Butter" Soft or Crisp Click we got you covered GF1. Godfather1
I can't wait to get it Chris. Yeah that was my problem with the white hot putters I would sometimes hit it past the hole because I couldn't get enough feel.
