Shaft Ho - Looking for Input for New Fuji

Featured Replies

Alrighty - I have a TP R7 9.5 head coming and I am looking for a Fuji shaft. My swingspeed is about 103-105 and am looking for a shaft that will launch lower. I am more of a hitter and like to play aggressive. I have not messed with the R7 weighting but prefer playing a heavier swing weight.

I like the feel of my evolutionin my 540 - somewhat stought - and the GD YS 9.1 in my 3 wood is great.

If you could find a W60 pull out that would be the route to go, its IMO the best hitters shaft, TSgirl and I have tried over a dozen shafts in the R7 max head and liked W60 best by far.

Also the Fuji 584HK might be a good match for you also, higher torque for a hitter matched with a higher kick point hmmm... :smile1:

660tr or 761 tipped 1" :money:

Best bang for your buck is the Prolite 35...smooth as silk and still gets alot of play on the PGA tour. IMO best shaft for the cash. :surprize:

The Fuji 764 is one one the best I have tried in a while. It is so good in the driver, and I think the best you can buy for the 3 wd. IMO

For a hitter you probably need something a bit tip stiff? 660 may not cut it, but the 761 as someone suggested may.

W60/W70 may also be an option.

660 x-flex tipped an 1" in a 510DF is pretty tight, more so than SHAQX tipped 1", Pro95 tipped 1 1/2", HK-pro80 tipped 1 1/2" ....I could name several others that I've played. Untipped 660's are pretty loose though.
