Posted February 17, 200520 yr if anyone knows what the lower line longer in a titleist 970 fw means please churp in.....thanks
February 17, 200520 yr Low line longs means that the head has been weighted for a heavier shaft, very similar to the 975D heads, where there were some with an underlined loft (for steel shafts, EI70...) meaning the the head with a longer lower line is lighter than the one with a shorter low line.
February 17, 200520 yr I have a new in the plastic 970 17* weighing 219.8 g...the lower line is longer...this does not seem like a light head to me? Can you help?
