  1. To cut a long story short: 435 9.5 loft question: ballflight compared to XDrive 460?? Should I go with the same loft or with 10.5 instead of 9.5? Pls give me some quick feedback, because I´m ready to pull the trigger... XDrive forever! I honestly feel that if you are used to the look, feel, sound, confidence and ballflight of any Xdrives (especially the 405 and 435), it´s very hard - if not impossible to enjoy any other driver on the market.
  2. How about some MP32 with 1150 Tour stiff? pm me your email adress and I will send you some pics. Ziggy
  3. r7 425 TP Tour 9.5 with Reax 75 stiff, great condition (599 incl. shipping OBO) J33 460 10.5 with Diamana 63 stiff, like new (399 incl. shipping OBO) Both clubs are in Europe and ready to ship. Let me know.. Ziggy
  4. the face looks dead square. From all the pictures on the internet it looks kinda big, but it really isn't that big at all. slightly shallower than the f-st. Reminds me somewhat like a v-steel except heavier. Feels like the j-33 except better. I found some more pics on the net and the more I play the Xdrive 405 (now with a new Diamana Iin 83s  ) the more I love it. Can anyone compare it against a SS07 or 904 regarding face height and ballflight? I´m thinking of ordering one with the new Diamana red board shaft....and since I won´t have the chance to see one in real, my decision depends on your input only. My current 3 woods are a SS07 and a 904F, bit 15 degrees and bot shafted with a TRTI-46. The next question would be how the Diamana red compares to the TRTI...
  5. I just shafted my new Xdrive 405 from Pitbull....and this could be my next purchase.. face closed or square? hook or neutral bias? Face height compared to e.g.904 or SS07 or J33 Head size compared to 904/SS07, J33 Comparison pics of the face with any other "common" 3 woods would help a lot. Thanks, Ziggy
  6. Thanks DaDriver... I was kind of hoping not to see such a good review, but somehow expected it. Do you have the Pro spec version without the rubber and screw thing or the newer version? I really would like to get the plain and classic "old" version....
  7. From the pics that I saw, this must be the best looking driver. Does it play as good as it looks? Can anyon compare it with something popular e.g R7, 510TP, 905.... I tried a LOT of drivers and still can´t find anything to kick out my 510TP... But I´m getting tired of it and started to look mor seriously for replacements. The 365 looks just plain perfect.... Again, does it play as good as it looks in terms of distance and forgiveness ? Thanks
  8. I liked it right away when it came out and bought one on the spot. I think that was the one and only design that was missing in the Cameron line up. I wanted to like the Futura, but could not get any feel for distance. Short putts were ok, long putts were a desaster. My old Newport Milspec still has the best feel of all putters I tried, but I wanted to get one with more "alignment help" for short and medium putts. Now combine the Futura and the Milspec and you have the Red X. I got the heaviest head (350) and extended the shaft to 34 inches. It has now a great balance, and the additional weight helps to swing really smooth. I play the heel shafted red X because I get more feedback if the sweetspot is "floating" and not right in front of the shaft. Great putter, the GSS insert is really soft and produces a solid sound - which is also important to me and probably another main reason why I can´t use the Futura. Hope that helps.
  9. This is AMAZING. I´ll experiment a bit more with my "stock" MP32 with lie angles and once I know the precise specs, I´ll be very tempted to order a custom "sunday" set with weaker lofts in the PW and 9 and slightly more camber in the sole. satin finish with as little (or close to no) markings as possible. ....woowoowowoowowowowooowwowoooowwwwooooo... slightly heavier heads that would go with NSpro1050 X softstepped once...
  10. paypal for 771 sent. Thanks, Ziggy
  11. ...and back at you..... Thanks, ziggy
  12. PM sent. Put me next in line...
  13. Low line longs means that the head has been weighted for a heavier shaft, very similar to the 975D heads, where there were some with an underlined loft (for steel shafts, EI70...) meaning the the head with a longer lower line is lighter than the one with a shorter low line.
  14. Is my price too high or is the club simply out of fashion? The cotton treatment makes it feel really solid. Sound is like you hear on TV when a Pro hits a driver... The shaft is also very smooth and very easy to load. This is a great setup for anybody with less than 110 mph swingspeed, not the typical "Pro" equipment where you need to swing like VJ or Tiger...
  15. 4 sale: Taylor Made 510TP (retail) 10.5 with custom cotton treatment from Chip Usher. Installed with Fuji Tourspec 671TE stiff, tipped 1 inch (plays true to flex). 45 inches, solid D3, great condition with NO marks on top of head. No ballmarks from sandy range balls, only normal wear on sole. Shaft also in great condition. The cotton treatment from Chip makes this beast sound and feel as good as any "tour driver" out there. 671TE is one of the best lightweight driver shafts of all time. I´m now playing a 9.5 after a major swing change over the winter. Club is in Germany right now, but I´m willing to ship anywhere if you guys pay for shipping. Original headcover included. Can send pics. 399,- US$ obo incl. paypal and shipping in Europe
  16. I have a 15 degree head with original S flex shaft. The head had a lot of scratches and I decided to get it re-finished. Right now, it´s sandblasted pure metal. Looks kind of cool, like the PT. Can be used as it is (easy to buff out skymarks... ) or can be re-finished in the US. Club is currently in Europe, but I could ship worldwide. It´s a great head, but I pulled the TRTI which was installed and use my SS-07 with that shaft. Clearly the second best FW I tried, but I´ll stick with my Sonartec. Let me know if you´re interested and make me a reasonable offer. Ziggy
  17. Penley IMS heavy 6.0 (115 grams). parallel tip, one time pull, great condition without any scratches. John Daly plays them in his wedges. 10 shafts (SW to 2iron) to hard or softstep, played 1/4 over standard in Miura CB1005 heads. The set costs new about 350US$ and I´m willing to let them go reasonably cheap. Shipping from Europe..... Let me know. Ziggy
  18. That´s good news. I hit my 510 10.5 too high and the 510 9.5 just ok. As long as it´s not lower than the 9.5, it´s perfect. How about re-shafting? Any issues with the foamed head?
  19. I would like to get a 365 with 9.5 or 10 degrees, but if I can find one which is 0.5 degrees closed, I could "lay it open" and get the additional loft. Whenever I look at the pics of the 365, I want to have one sooo badly.... Are there any problems of re-shafting due to the foamed head? Any danger of melting the foam and getting a rattle?
  20. Anybody got it? Any feedback? How does it play compared to other common drivers (e.g.510TP) I have currently 3 TM drivers and the best irons I´ve even used (MP-32), but whenever I see a Tourstage product, I think that I have the wrong equipment in my bag... Call me sick and crazy, but I could imagine letting all 3 TM drivers go for one X-Drive.... :surprize:

    Irons

I can´t tell you enough good things about the MP32. Z101 are close, but MP32 are the ticket. They don´t hit it too low, that´s maybe the only point which you might not like, but with some shaft tinkering, I´m sure you´ll end up with nice sticks. Feel and forgiveness (for a blade) are top notch. I totally agree with you about the "looks" issue. A bad looking club will never make me happy, even if I would hit all fairways and greens (wouldn´t happen aynway....) Good luck with your search.
  22. Received the club and looks great just like described. Thanks Tom!
