Posted February 21, 200519 yr comment_79855 Hi. Here is the problem: I have a vertical swing, because this what I am feeling with, even with my driver. With my wedges, I have a problem: I can find petroleum with those clubs, as I dig them right into the turf to the center of Earth... Well, I have less problem with huge bounced clubs. I can easily use my 56-11 (and I am sure I would feel more comfortable with 56-14), but cannot play consistent shots with my 52-7 if the turf is not hard as hell. I am currently studying the opportunity to have a 51° of loft wedge, but with 9 or 10° of bounce. Difficult to have in retail. The question is: is it relevant to take a 54-9 and to bend it to 51? What incidence on the bounce? What's the best way to get what I am looking for? Thanx, and sorry if this topic is not in the right forum. Chris.

February 22, 200519 yr comment_80132 If it's that big on an issue I would try and flatten your swing out.

February 22, 200519 yr comment_80197 LOL. I've been known to spank them every now and again. Swing speed with driver is 126, ball speed is 185ish. Spin rate is around 3000rpm. Swing speed with 5 iron is 104.
February 22, 200519 yr comment_80199 ARGGGLLLL!!!! I am currently working to upright it 'til death!!!!! You're killing me... Well here's how I see it. Obviously you're coming over the top quite badly, hence the earth moving. Your MAIN goal should be to get the club on plane. If you returned the club back on plane I garuntee you would not chunk the ball ever. Just something to think about.

Another option might be to custom order your wedge from Scratch Golf one of the sponsors here. You could at least find out if it is possible to leave more bounce on the club. I imagine it just depends on the overall shape of the head before they do the grinding. Good Luck
March 12, 200519 yr comment_84432 the first option would be to flatten out your swing. are your lie angles upright? what you could do if all else fails is have one wedge with about 14deg of bounce, another with about 7, and depending on turf conditions you could choose which one to use.
