FAQ
Not looking for a long heated debate - just seeking your preference as to whether it is worth puring a fuji speeder 660 or not ? I think it is. Why not if you are spending that kind of money.
Mike
I agree with FAQ . If you are spending the cash for the shaft , might as well get it pured also . :smile2:
golf9596
I could not agree more. The better you prepare your equipment, you are that much further ahead of most of the other players.
Breal
Yeah especially when its only 10 or 15 bucks get it pured.
scratchgolfnut69
I have all my shafts pured
rubycoho
I wouldn't get it pured if I were you. Fuji's are the best shafts out there as far as I am concerned. The quality control they have is excellent and if you mean the 661, I believe it is a triax shaft so you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I truly think puring is way overrated. joey3108
If I show you guys the movement of the shaft on every angle/corner of the shaft, You'll drop your jaw and make the fastest decison you'll ever make. Guaranty!!! :surprize: I promise nothing come out from my mouth, it's all action and hard proof only. No BS!!! Joe
sflaspprentice
I have to agree with rubycoho. I do not see the advantage of puring a shaft. especially when you are spending that kind of money the quality control is out of this world. Its not that I am a skeptic, I just think it is a big phantom myth.
icemakr
If you believe Hot Stix, they have told me that all shafts regardless of origin, Manufacture or retail/tour have A,B,C product. They grade every shaft that comes to them with their own software regarding the actual roundness, straightness and torque. All manufactures have shafts that grade out in the A - Best, B - Good, and C - Not so good categories. Now the Japanese manufactures are much more frequently rated as A's but not all. That's where puring comes in. With a Fujikura you are almost assured of an A or B. Aligning the hardest side toward the target can only improve the consistency of what will likely be a very good shaft. How much $$ is that piece of mind worth?
