March 1, 200520 yr getting a cally 454 with fujikura 652 stiff from van. trying to decide between 10 and 11 degree lofts. i am a med height hitter. not highball. swingspeed about 107. currently play 983k 9.5 with ys 9.1. have heard this hit's it lower. also, are heads coming from the van different than stock? if so, what would be difference?
March 1, 200520 yr Heavier shafts tend to bring the ball flight down a bit. If you like your ball flight where it is right now I'd stick with the 10*. I can't answer anything about the tour van clubs.
March 2, 200520 yr One of the highest ballspeeds off this head.... but it does play about half degree lower for me than usual, IMO ... so you may want go up in loft a tad.
March 2, 200520 yr I cannot begin to tell you how much this driver brought down my ballflight. I dont want to tell you to jump 3 degrees but I used to sky the ball all carry about 280 and here were my past setups. 975D 8.5 ProForce 75x 983E 8.5 Aldila Tour Spec 64 gram strong flex Si3 9 Grafalloy Blue S Si3 9 YS 9.1 SX I hope this helps you :smile2:
