hue
This being in the Tour/Import area I will throw in some JDM options for you all. . Â IMO the GAF1 by Gauge Japan is best of all for these reasons: - It was designed taking the best aspects of the V-Steel ( rail sole) , BBD Type H ( shape and profile ), Tourstage FST ( rear cut away for a high C.O.G ), and the Olimar hot metal 2 ( miraging face ) all into one. face angle is .5 open to square. Â How much are they/ Where can I get one? Thanks Drop me a PM. I PMd you. Can you drop me a line to John Hue at [email protected] ? Thanks
davevandyk
gotta go with the Sonartec SS-03. I have had the 970 and wasn't overly impressed. This 3 wood performs and gives you the shot shape you need.
champx2
970 is a classic. not hard to hit for a skilled player. I have had just about every tour 3 wood you can think of and the 970 is a great choice if you want a no nonsense, high cog, great looking, super solid and loooong 3 wood. ss-03 gets a big thumbs up also Cleveland tour launcher is what I currently play and these are ridiculously good. Just got a txxxx tour 13 titanium that is a cannon but my 13 steel pro 95 x is the benchmark. Callaway makes great fairway woods. I think the older models are better than the newer. Another big thumbs up on the tour s2h2 and SH+. I like the sh III and 2004 BB as well just not quite as much as the others
