+TourSpecGolfer
would love to hear opinions on both sets and how they may compare Your a HO, Buy um both, test it out. IMO the X-Tours are overrated versus the amount of hype they are getting. Forgiving yes, but it doesn't feel as good as most Forged clubs noticeably the MP series by mizuno. The Scratch 05 Cb's I have hit also and feel great, Quality 1018 steel, great craftsmanship, made in Japan and available in a very cool satin finish. tsg4tch
Two completely different animals. Scratchs give precise, immediate feedback, perform out of the rough, narrower sole, with some forgiveness. Cally's are bulkier, wider soled, more forgiveness, less feedback off face. Cally's are great off the fairway, but hang up in the rough a little. Scratchs have soft forged feel. Both are great irons, but each will shine for different type of player.
