Posted March 20, 200519 yr comment_86163 What putter and putter grip is Sergio using ? http://cache.gettyimages.com/comp/52242615...21B2AC3A62513D3
March 20, 200519 yr comment_86195 It looks as though Sergio's using a rossa tp daytona-1 with from the looks of it a winn medallist grip.
March 20, 200519 yr comment_86217 Don't know about the putter, but the grip is the Winn grip that everyone on the European Ryder Cup team got. Its Yellow and Blue with a logo somewhere near the top. He's been using it on everything since the event.
March 21, 200519 yr comment_86467 Look a little further on GettyImages and you'll see a better pic of the grip, but he changes his putter quite frequently from the looks of it and as you watch from tournament to tournament
March 22, 200519 yr comment_86717 Wasn't a yes! putter, had the red insert of a rossa putter and he's been using rossa putters for quite a while. Experimented with a couple different Scotty Cameron's, redx etc.
March 22, 200519 yr comment_86791 A couple guys who were at Bay Hill confirmed that it was a Yes! FWIW
March 22, 200519 yr comment_86878 May have been a Yes! putter at Bay Hill, but the original question was what putter and grip was he using with the picture AKFLY posted. I stand to be corrected but i'll be quite surprised if that's a Yes! putter in that particular picture he posted.
March 23, 200519 yr comment_86926 Ah that could very well be! When I click the link a new window opens but no picture loads ...
March 23, 200519 yr comment_86953 Wasn't trying to tell you that you were wrong about saying it was a Yes! putter at Bayhill, but in the specific picture which if you search Sergio Garcia on Getty Images and match the address it looks to me as the Rossa TP Daytona 1.
March 23, 200519 yr comment_87189 the grip is definetly custom. i do know that euro team memebers received some, as blue and yellow are the colors on the euro flag for the ryder cup. now, he has been switchin around his putters. i thought he was using a cgroove at bay hill, but the picture shown was not at bayhill. it was some sort of rossa. you cant see the back and the bumpers so you cant be sure of the model, but the insert tells you it is a rossa. everybody here is right. rossa/yes! . he has been using a rossa but just switched to a cgroove

Gotcha :smile2: Didn't do the Getty search but when the image didn't load I just wanted to pass on some recent Sergio putter info. Cheers :smile1:
March 24, 200519 yr comment_87401 Sounds good, but being a TM player and using the same model myself it looks very similar to my rossa tp daytona 1, and the custom grip is the winn medalist grip that all the euro players received for the ryder cup. That's all I was making reference to throughout was in terms of the picture AKFLY originally posted. But thank you ctlaltdel and vokester on updating us to him switching to the Yes!.
